וַיֶּחֱזַ֨ק
way·ye·ḥĕ·zaq
דָּוִ֤ד
dā·wiḏ
מִן־
min-
הַפְּלִשְׁתִּי֙
hap·pə·liš·tî
בַּקֶּ֣לַע
baq·qe·la‘
with a sling
､ וּבָאֶ֔בֶן
ū·ḇā·’e·ḇen,
and a stone ､
וַיַּ֥ךְ
way·yaḵ
and struck
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י
hap·pə·liš·tî
the Philistine ､
וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ
way·mî·ṯê·hū;
וְחֶ֖רֶב
wə·ḥe·reḇ
but sword
אֵ֥ין
’ên
[there was] no
בְּיַד־
bə·yaḏ-
in the hand
. דָּוִֽד׃
dā·wiḏ.
