וַיְסִרֵ֤הוּ
way·si·rê·hū
שָׁאוּל֙
šā·’ūl
מֵֽעִמּ֔וֹ
mê·‘im·mōw,
וַיְשִׂמֵ֥הוּ
way·śi·mê·hū
and made him
ל֖וֹ
lōw
שַׂר־
śar-
– אָ֑לֶף
’ā·lep̄;
a thousand –
וַיֵּצֵ֥א
way·yê·ṣê
and he went out
וַיָּבֹ֖א
way·yā·ḇō
and came in
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
. הָעָֽם׃
hā·‘ām.
the people .
