וַיְהִ֗י
way·hî,
And it came to pass
､ מִֽמָּחֳרַ֤ת
mim·mā·ḥo·raṯ
the next day ､
､ הַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙
ha·ḥō·ḏeš
the month ､
הַשֵּׁנִ֔י
haš·šê·nî,
the second [day]
– וַיִּפָּקֵ֖ד
way·yip·pā·qêḏ
of that was empty –
מְק֣וֹם
mə·qō·wm
דָּוִ֑ד
dā·wiḏ;

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and said
שָׁאוּל֙
šā·’ūl
אֶל־
’el-
to
יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן
yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān
､ בְּנ֔וֹ
bə·nōw,
his son ､
מַדּ֜וּעַ
mad·dū·a‘
לֹא־
lō-
not
בָ֧א
ḇā
בֶן־
ḇen-
the son
יִשַׁ֛י
yi·šay
גַּם־
gam-
､ תְּמ֥וֹל
tə·mō·wl
גַּם־
gam-
or
؟ הַיּ֖וֹם
hay·yō·wm
אֶל־
