And said
גָּ֨ד
gāḏ
הַנָּבִ֜יא
han·nā·ḇî
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ דָּוִ֗ד
dā·wiḏ,
David ､
לֹ֤א
lō
not
תֵשֵׁב֙
ṯê·šêḇ
do stay
– בַּמְּצוּדָ֔ה
bam·mə·ṣū·ḏāh,
in the stronghold –
､ לֵ֥ךְ
lêḵ
depart ､
וּבָֽאתָ־
ū·ḇā·ṯā-
and go
לְּךָ֖
lə·ḵā
to you
אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
to the land
. יְהוּדָ֑ה
yə·hū·ḏāh;
of Judah .
､ וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ
way·yê·leḵ
And departed ､
דָּוִ֔ד
dā·wiḏ,
וַיָּבֹ֖א
way·yā·ḇō
and went
יַ֥עַר
ya·‘ar
. חָֽרֶת׃
ḥā·reṯ.
of Hereth .
