So took
דָּוִ֨ד
dā·wiḏ
אֶֽת־
’eṯ-
-
הַחֲנִ֜ית
ha·ḥă·nîṯ
the spear
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
צַפַּ֤חַת
ṣap·pa·ḥaṯ
the jug
הַמַּ֙יִם֙
ham·ma·yim
מֵרַאֲשֹׁתֵ֣י
mê·ra·’ă·šō·ṯê
[by] head
שָׁא֔וּל
šā·’ūl,
of Saul
､ וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ
way·yê·lə·ḵū
and they got away ､
לָהֶ֑ם
lā·hem;
to
וְאֵ֣ין
wə·’ên
and no
רֹאֶה֩
rō·’eh
man saw [it]
וְאֵ֨ין
wə·’ên
and no
יוֹדֵ֜עַ
yō·w·ḏê·a‘
[one] knew [it]
וְאֵ֣ין
wə·’ên
and none
– מֵקִ֗יץ
mê·qîṣ,
awoke –
כִּ֤י
kî
כֻלָּם֙
ḵul·lām
יְשֵׁנִ֔ים
yə·šê·nîm,
כִּ֚י
kî
תַּרְדֵּמַ֣ת
tar·dê·maṯ
יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
נָפְלָ֖ה
nā·p̄ə·lāh
. עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
‘ă·lê·hem.
on them .
