וַיָּ֣רֶם
way·yā·rem
So took up
הַ֠טַּבָּח
haṭ·ṭab·bāḥ
the cook
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַשּׁ֨וֹק
haš·šō·wq
the leg ､
וְהֶעָלֶ֜יהָ
wə·he·‘ā·le·hā
and what was attached to it
וַיָּ֣שֶׂם ׀
way·yā·śem
and set [it]
לִפְנֵ֣י
lip̄·nê
. שָׁא֗וּל
šā·’ūl,
､ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙
way·yō·mer
And [Samuel] said ､
הִנֵּ֤ה
hin·nêh
Here it is
! הַנִּשְׁאָר֙
han·niš·’ār
שִׂים־
śîm-
לְפָנֶ֣יךָ
lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā
､ אֱכֹ֔ל
’ĕ·ḵōl,
Eat ､
כִּ֧י
kî
לַמּוֹעֵ֛ד
lam·mō·w·‘êḏ
שָֽׁמוּר־
šā·mūr-
לְךָ֥
lə·ḵā
､ לֵאמֹ֖ר
lê·mōr
since I said ､
. הָעָ֣ם ׀
hā·‘ām
the people .
קָרָ֑אתִי
qā·rā·ṯî;
וַיֹּ֧אכַל
way·yō·ḵal
so ate
שָׁא֛וּל
šā·’ūl
עִם־
‘im-
with
שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל
šə·mū·’êl
בַּיּ֥וֹם
bay·yō·wm
. הַהֽוּא׃
ha·hū.
