וְאִ֗ישׁ
wə·’îš,
And a certain man
מָשַׁ֤ךְ
mā·šaḵ
בַּקֶּ֙שֶׁת֙
baq·qe·šeṯ
a bow
､ לְתֻמּ֔וֹ
lə·ṯum·mōw,
at random ､
וַיַּךְ֙
way·yaḵ
and struck
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
מֶ֣לֶךְ
me·leḵ
the king
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
בֵּ֥ין
bên
הַדְּבָקִ֖ים
had·də·ḇā·qîm
the joints
וּבֵ֣ין
ū·ḇên
and
. הַשִּׁרְיָ֑ן
haš·šir·yān;
of his armor .
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
So he said
､ לָֽרַכָּ֗ב
lā·rak·kāḇ,
to the driver of his chariot ､
הֲפֹ֧ךְ
hă·p̄ōḵ
[ידיך]
yā·ḏe·ḵā
-
､ (יָדְךָ֛)
yā·ḏə·ḵā
- ､
וְהוֹצֵאתַ֥נִי
wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯa·nî
and take me out
מִן־
min-
of
– הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה
ham·ma·ḥă·neh
the battle –
כִּ֥י
kî
. הָחֳלֵֽיתִי׃
hā·ḥo·lê·ṯî.
I am wounded .
