the idol
אֲשֶׁ֣ר

､ עָשָׂ֑ה
‘ā·śāh;
he had made ､
בְּבֵ֣ית
bə·ḇêṯ
in the house
､ הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים
hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,
of God ､
אֲשֶׁ֨ר
’ă·šer
אָמַ֤ר
’ā·mar
אֱלֹהִים֙
’ĕ·lō·hîm
אֶל־
’el-
to
דָּוִיד֙
dā·wîḏ
וְאֶל־
wə·’el-
and to
שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה
šə·lō·mōh
､ בְנ֔וֹ
ḇə·nōw,
his son ､
､ בַּבַּ֨יִת
bab·ba·yiṯ
in house ､
הַזֶּ֜ה
haz·zeh
､ וּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֗ם
ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim,
and in Jerusalem ､
אֲשֶׁ֤ר
’ă·šer
בָּחַ֙רְתִּי֙
bā·ḥar·tî
מִכֹּל֙
mik·kōl
out of all
שִׁבְטֵ֣י
šiḇ·ṭê
the tribes
､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
of Israel ､
אָשִׂ֥ים
’ā·śîm
I will put
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
שְׁמִ֖י
šə·mî
My name
– לְעֵילֽוֹם׃
lə·‘ê·lō·wm.
