וַיִּקַּ֣ח
way·yiq·qaḥ
And he took
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
שָׂרֵ֣י
śā·rê
､ הַ֠מֵּאוֹת
ham·mê·’ō·wṯ
of hundreds ､
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ הַכָּרִ֨י
hak·kā·rî
the bodyguards ､
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ הָרָצִ֜ים
hā·rā·ṣîm
the escorts ､
וְאֵ֣ת ׀
wə·’êṯ
and
כָּל־
kāl-
עַ֣ם
‘am
the people
– הָאָ֗רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
of the land –
וַיֹּרִ֤ידוּ
way·yō·rî·ḏū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙
ham·me·leḵ
the king
מִבֵּ֣ית
mib·bêṯ
､ יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
of Yahweh ､
וַיָּב֛וֹאוּ
way·yā·ḇō·w·’ū
and went
דֶּֽרֶך־
de·reḵ-
by way
שַׁ֥עַר‪‬
ša·‘ar
of the gate
הָרָצִ֖ים
hā·rā·ṣîm
of the escorts
. בֵּ֣ית
bêṯ
הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ
ham·me·leḵ;
Of to the king
וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב
way·yê·šeḇ
and he sat
עַל־
‘al-
on
כִּסֵּ֥א
kis·sê
the throne
. הַמְּלָכִֽים׃
ham·mə·lā·ḵîm.
of the kings .
