וַיָּבֵ֣א
way·yā·ḇê
מֶֽלֶךְ־
me·leḵ-
the king
אַשּׁ֡וּר
’aš·šūr
מִבָּבֶ֡ל
mib·bā·ḇel
וּ֠מִכּוּ֠תָה
ū·mik·kū·ṯāh
and Cuthah
וּמֵעַוָּ֤א
ū·mê·‘aw·wā
and Ava
וּמֵֽחֲמָת֙
ū·mê·ḥă·māṯ
and Hamath
､ וּסְפַרְוַ֔יִם
ū·sə·p̄ar·wa·yim,
וַיֹּ֙שֶׁב֙
way·yō·šeḇ
and placed [them]
בְּעָרֵ֣י
bə·‘ā·rê
in the cities
שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן
šō·mə·rō·wn,
תַּ֖חַת
ta·ḥaṯ
בְּנֵ֣י
bə·nê
of the sons
. יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל
yiś·rā·’êl;
of Israel .
וַיִּֽרְשׁוּ֙
way·yir·šū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ שֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן
šō·mə·rō·wn,
of Samaria ､
וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ
way·yê·šə·ḇū
and dwelt
. בְּעָרֶֽיהָ׃
bə·‘ā·re·hā.
in its cities .
