אָבִ֣י ׀

、 אָבִ֗י
’ā·ḇî,
my father
רֶ֤כֶב
re·ḵeḇ
、 יִשְׂרָאֵל֙
yiś·rā·’êl
of Israel
וּפָ֣רָשָׁ֔יו
ū·p̄ā·rā·šāw,
וְלֹ֥א
wə·lō
so no
רָאָ֖הוּ
rā·’ā·hū
he saw him
. ע֑וֹד
‘ō·wḏ;
וַֽיַּחֲזֵק֙
way·ya·ḥă·zêq
And he took hold
、 בִּבְגָדָ֔יו
biḇ·ḡā·ḏāw,
of his own clothes
וַיִּקְרָעֵ֖ם
way·yiq·rā·‘êm
לִשְׁנַ֥יִם
liš·na·yim
. קְרָעִֽים׃
qə·rā·‘îm.
