וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ
way·yō·mə·rū
and said
אַנְשֵׁ֤י
’an·šê
the men
הָעִיר֙
hā·‘îr
of the city
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ אֱלִישָׁ֔ע
’ĕ·lî·šā‘,
Elisha ､
､ הִנֵּה־
hin·nêh-
notice ､
､ נָ֞א
nā
please ､
מוֹשַׁ֤ב
mō·wō·šaḇ
הָעִיר֙
hā·‘îr
､ ט֔וֹב
ṭō·wḇ,
[is] pleasant ､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר
ka·’ă·šer
as
אֲדֹנִ֖י
’ă·ḏō·nî
my lord
– רֹאֶ֑ה
rō·’eh;
sees –
וְהַמַּ֥יִם
wə·ham·ma·yim
but the water
､ רָעִ֖ים
rā·‘îm
[is] bad ､
וְהָאָ֥רֶץ
wə·hā·’ā·reṣ
and the ground
. מְשַׁכָּֽלֶת׃
mə·šak·kā·leṯ.
