וְגֵחֲזִ֞י
wə·ḡê·ḥă·zî
And Gehazi
עָבַ֣ר
‘ā·ḇar
went on
לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם
lip̄·nê·hem,
וַיָּ֤שֶׂם
way·yā·śem
and laid
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַמִּשְׁעֶ֙נֶת֙
ham·miš·‘e·neṯ
the staff
עַל־
‘al-
on
פְּנֵ֣י
pə·nê
the face
– הַנַּ֔עַר
han·na·‘ar,
of the child –
וְאֵ֥ין
wə·’ên
but [there was] no
､ ק֖וֹל
qō·wl
voice ､
וְאֵ֣ין
wə·’ên
and no
. קָ֑שֶׁב
qā·šeḇ;
וַיָּ֤שָׁב
way·yā·šāḇ
לִקְרָאתוֹ֙
liq·rā·ṯōw
וַיַּגֶּד־
way·yag·geḏ-
and told
ל֣וֹ
lōw
､ לֵאמֹ֔ר
lê·mōr,
saying ､
לֹ֥א
lō
not
הֵקִ֖יץ
hê·qîṣ
. הַנָּֽעַר׃
han·nā·‘ar.
the child .
