וֶאֱלִישָׁ֞ע
we·’ĕ·lî·šā‘
And Elisha
שָׁ֤ב
šāḇ
､ הַגִּלְגָּ֙לָה֙
hag·gil·gā·lāh
to Gilgal ､
וְהָרָעָ֣ב
wə·hā·rā·‘āḇ
and [there was] a famine
– בָּאָ֔רֶץ
bā·’ā·reṣ,
in the land –
וּבְנֵי֙
ū·ḇə·nê
and the sons
הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים
han·nə·ḇî·’îm,
of the prophets
יֹשְׁבִ֖ים
yō·šə·ḇîm
לְפָנָ֑יו
lə·p̄ā·nāw;
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and he said
､ לְנַעֲר֗וֹ
lə·na·‘ă·rōw,
to his servant ､
שְׁפֹת֙
šə·p̄ōṯ
Put on
､ הַסִּ֣יר
has·sîr
the pot ､
הַגְּדוֹלָ֔ה
hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh,
וּבַשֵּׁ֥ל
ū·ḇaš·šêl
and boil
נָזִ֖יד
nā·zîḏ
לִבְנֵ֥י
liḇ·nê
for the sons
. הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃
han·nə·ḇî·’îm.
of the prophets .
