､ וַֽיְמַהֲר֗וּ
way·ma·hă·rū,
And hastened ､
וַיִּקְחוּ֙
way·yiq·ḥū
and to take
אִ֣ישׁ
’îš
､ בִּגְד֔וֹ
biḡ·ḏōw,
וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ
way·yā·śî·mū
and put [it]
תַחְתָּ֖יו
ṯaḥ·tāw
אֶל־
’el-
on
גֶּ֣רֶם
ge·rem
the top
､ הַֽמַּעֲל֑וֹת
ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ;
of the steps ､
וַֽיִּתְקְעוּ֙
way·yiṯ·qə·‘ū
､ בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר
baš·šō·w·p̄ār,
､ וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ
way·yō·mə·rū
and saying ､
מָלַ֥ךְ
mā·laḵ
is king
. יֵהֽוּא׃
yê·hū.
