וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח
way·yiš·laḥ,
And he sent out
רֹכֵ֣ב
rō·ḵêḇ
､ סוּס֮
sūs
a horseman ､
שֵׁנִי֒
šê·nî
וַיָּבֹ֣א
way·yā·ḇō
and who came
אֲלֵהֶ֔ם
’ă·lê·hem,
to them
､ וַיֹּ֛אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and said ､
כֹּֽה־
kōh-
אָמַ֥ר
’ā·mar
､ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ
ham·me·leḵ
the king ､
؟ שָׁל֑וֹם
šā·lō·wm;
[Is it] peace ؟
､ וַיֹּ֧אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and answered ､
יֵה֛וּא
yê·hū
מַה־
mah-
לְּךָ֥
lə·ḵā
؟ וּלְשָׁל֖וֹם
ū·lə·šā·lō·wm
and to do with peace ؟
סֹ֥ב
sōḇ
אֶֽל־
’el-
to
. אַחֲרָֽי׃
’a·ḥă·rāy.
and follow me .
