וַיִּקְרָ֣א
way·yiq·rā
and called
דָוִ֗ד
ḏā·wiḏ,
לְאַחַד֙
lə·’a·ḥaḏ
､ מֵֽהַנְּעָרִ֔ים
mê·han·nə·‘ā·rîm,
of the young men ､
､ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and said ､
､ גַּ֣שׁ
gaš
go near ､
פְּגַע־
pə·ḡa‘-
[and] execute
בּ֑וֹ
bōw;
וַיַּכֵּ֖הוּ
way·yak·kê·hū
and he struck him
. וַיָּמֹֽת׃
way·yā·mōṯ.
so that he died .
