וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ

דָּוִ֛ד
dā·wiḏ
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים
hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm
בְּעַ֣ד
bə·‘aḏ
– הַנָּ֑עַר
han·nā·‘ar;
the child –
､ וַיָּ֤צָם
way·yā·ṣām
and fasted ､
דָּוִד֙
dā·wiḏ
､ צ֔וֹם
ṣō·wm,
fasted ､
וּבָ֥א
ū·ḇā
and went in
וְלָ֖ן
wə·lān
וְשָׁכַ֥ב
wə·šā·ḵaḇ
and lay on
. אָֽרְצָה׃
’ā·rə·ṣāh.
the ground .
