וַיִּקְרָ֨א
way·yiq·rā
And called
אַבְנֵ֜ר
’aḇ·nêr
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ יוֹאָ֗ב
yō·w·’āḇ,
Joab ､
､ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙
way·yō·mer
and said ､
؟ הֲלָנֶ֙צַח֙
hă·lā·ne·ṣaḥ
תֹּ֣אכַל
tō·ḵal
חֶ֔רֶב
ḥe·reḇ,
the sword
הֲל֣וֹא
hă·lō·w
do not
יָדַ֔עְתָּה
yā·ḏa‘·tāh,
כִּֽי־
kî-
מָרָ֥ה
mā·rāh
תִהְיֶ֖ה
ṯih·yeh
it will be
؟ בָּאַחֲרוֹנָ֑ה
bā·’a·ḥă·rō·w·nāh;
in the latter end ؟
וְעַד־
wə·‘aḏ-
מָתַי֙
mā·ṯay
לֹֽא־
lō-
not you
תֹאמַ֣ר
ṯō·mar
will it be until you tell
לָעָ֔ם
lā·‘ām,
the people
לָשׁ֖וּב
lā·šūḇ
מֵאַחֲרֵ֥י
mê·’a·ḥă·rê
؟ אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃
’ă·ḥê·hem.
