וַתָּבוֹא֩
wat·tā·ḇō·w
And went
הָאִשָּׁ֨ה
hā·’iš·šāh
the woman
אֶל־
’el-
to
כָּל־
kāl-
הָעָ֜ם
hā·‘ām
the people
. בְּחָכְמָתָ֗הּ
bə·ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯāh,
in her wisdom .
וַֽיִּכְרְת֞וּ
way·yiḵ·rə·ṯū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
רֹ֨אשׁ
rōš
the head
שֶׁ֤בַע
še·ḇa‘
בֶּן־
ben-
､ בִּכְרִי֙
biḵ·rî
of Bichri ､
וַיַּשְׁלִ֣כוּ
way·yaš·li·ḵū
and threw [it] out
אֶל־
’el-
to
. יוֹאָ֔ב
yō·w·’āḇ,
וַיִּתְקַע֙
way·yiṯ·qa‘
And he blew
､ בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר
baš·šō·w·p̄ār,
a trumpet ､
וַיָּפֻ֥צוּ
way·yā·p̄u·ṣū
מֵֽעַל־
mê·‘al-
､ הָעִ֖יר
hā·‘îr
the city ､
אִ֣ישׁ
’îš
. לְאֹהָלָ֑יו
lə·’ō·hā·lāw;
to his tent .
וְיוֹאָ֛ב
wə·yō·w·’āḇ
So Joab
שָׁ֥ב
šāḇ
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם
yə·rū·šā·lim
אֶל־
’el-
to
. הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
ham·me·leḵ.
the king .
