and took him up ､
אֹֽמַנְתּוֹ֙

. וַתָּנֹ֔ס
wat·tā·nōs,
and fled .
､ וַיְהִ֞י
way·hî
And it came to pass ､
בְּחָפְזָ֥הּ
bə·ḥā·p̄ə·zāh
､ לָנ֛וּס
lā·nūs
to flee ､
､ וַיִּפֹּ֥ל
way·yip·pōl
that he fell ､
וַיִּפָּסֵ֖חַ
way·yip·pā·sê·aḥ
וּשְׁמ֥וֹ
ū·šə·mōw
and His name [was]
. מְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת׃
mə·p̄î·ḇō·šeṯ.

､ וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ

And set out ､
בְּנֵֽי־
bə·nê-
the sons
רִמּ֤וֹן
rim·mō·wn
､ הַבְּאֵֽרֹתִי֙
hab·bə·’ê·rō·ṯî
the Beerothite ､
רֵכָ֣ב
rê·ḵāḇ
וּבַעֲנָ֔ה
ū·ḇa·‘ă·nāh,
and Baanah
וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙
way·yā·ḇō·’ū
and came at
כְּחֹ֣ם
kə·ḥōm
הַיּ֔וֹם
hay·yō·wm,
of the day
אֶל־
’el-
to
בֵּ֖ית
bêṯ
the house
אִ֣ישׁ
’îš
of
､ בֹּ֑שֶׁת
bō·šeṯ;
וְה֣וּא
wə·hū
and he
שֹׁכֵ֔ב
šō·ḵêḇ,
אֵ֖ת
’êṯ
on
מִשְׁכַּ֥ב
miš·kaḇ
his bed at
. הַֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם׃
haṣ·ṣā·ho·rā·yim.

And they

עַד־
‘aḏ-
all the way
תּ֤וֹךְ

､ הַבַּ֙יִת֙

the house ､
לֹקְחֵ֣י
lō·qə·ḥê
[as though] to get
– חִטִּ֔ים
ḥiṭ·ṭîm,
wheat –
וַיַּכֻּ֖הוּ
way·yak·ku·hū
אֶל־
’el-
in
הַחֹ֑מֶשׁ
ha·ḥō·meš;
וְרֵכָ֛ב
wə·rê·ḵāḇ
and Rechab
וּבַעֲנָ֥ה
ū·ḇa·‘ă·nāh
and Baanah
אָחִ֖יו
’ā·ḥîw
. נִמְלָֽטוּ׃
nim·lā·ṭū.

､ מִשְׁכָּב֔וֹ

וַיַּכֻּ֙הוּ֙

וַיְמִתֻ֔הוּ
way·mi·ṯu·hū,
וַיָּסִ֖ירוּ
way·yā·sî·rū

､ כִמְבַשֵּׂר֙

בְּעֵינָ֔יו
bə·‘ê·nāw,
וָאֹחֲזָ֣ה
wā·’ō·ḥă·zāh
and I arrested
ב֔וֹ
ḇōw,
וָאֶהְרְגֵ֖הוּ
wā·’eh·rə·ḡê·hū
､ בְּצִֽקְלָ֑ג
bə·ṣiq·lāḡ;
in Ziklag ､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
the one who
לְתִתִּי־
lə·ṯit·tî-
ל֖וֹ
lōw
– בְּשֹׂרָֽה׃
bə·śō·rāh.
for [his] news –

on
؟ מִשְׁכָּב֑וֹ

his bed ؟
וְעַתָּ֗ה
wə·‘at·tāh,
הֲל֨וֹא

shall not
אֲבַקֵּ֤שׁ

דָּמוֹ֙

וַיַּהַרְג֗וּם

וַֽיְקַצְּצ֤וּ

and cut off

’eṯ-
-
יְדֵיהֶם֙
yə·ḏê·hem
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ רַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם
raḡ·lê·hem,
feet ､
וַיִּתְל֥וּ
way·yiṯ·lū
and hanged [them]
עַל־
‘al-
by
הַבְּרֵכָ֖ה
hab·bə·rê·ḵāh
the pool
. בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן

in Hebron .
