of heaven the

were stirring up

לְיַמָּ֥א

like a man ､

הֳקִימַ֔ת

וּלְבַ֥ב

and a heart

אֱנָ֖שׁ

of man

and yet were prolonged

בְחַיִּ֛ין

for kingdom the

the saints .

תֶּהֱוֵ֣א

te·hĕ·wê

､ בְאַרְעָ֔א

ḇə·’ar·‘ā,

on earth ､

דִּ֥י

dî

תִשְׁנֵ֖א

ṯiš·nê

shall be different

מִן־

min-

כָּל־

kāl-

､ מַלְכְוָתָ֑א

mal·ḵə·wā·ṯā;

[other] kingdoms ､

וְתֵאכֻל֙

wə·ṯê·ḵul

and shall devour

כָּל־

kāl-

､ אַרְעָ֔א

’ar·‘ā,

earth the ､

､ וּתְדוּשִׁנַּ֖הּ

ū·ṯə·ḏū·šin·nah

and Trample it ､

. וְתַדְּקִנַּֽהּ׃

wə·ṯad·də·qin·nah.

and break it in pieces .

וְקַרְנַיָּ֣א

wə·qar·nay·yā

And horns the

עֲשַׂ֔ר

‘ă·śar,

מִנַּהּ֙

min·nah

מַלְכוּתָ֔ה

mal·ḵū·ṯāh,

עַשְׂרָ֥ה

‘aś·rāh

מַלְכִ֖ין

mal·ḵîn

– יְקֻמ֑וּן

yə·qu·mūn;

[Who] shall arise –

וְאָחֳרָ֞ן

wə·’ā·ḥo·rān

יְק֣וּם

yə·qūm

אַחֲרֵיה֗וֹן

’a·ḥă·rê·hō·wn,

וְה֤וּא

wə·hū

and He

יִשְׁנֵא֙

yiš·nê

shall be different

מִן־

min-

､ קַדְמָיֵ֔א

qaḏ·mā·yê,

first [ones] ､

וּתְלָתָ֥ה

ū·ṯə·lā·ṯāh

מַלְכִ֖ין

mal·ḵîn

. יְהַשְׁפִּֽל׃

yə·haš·pil.

וּמִלִּ֗ין

ū·mil·lîn,

And [pompous] words

לְצַ֤ד

lə·ṣaḏ

[עליא]

‘il·lā·yā

-

､ (עִלָּאָה֙)

‘il·lā·’āh

Most High the ､

יְמַלִּ֔ל

yə·mal·lil,

וּלְקַדִּישֵׁ֥י

ū·lə·qad·dî·šê

and the saints

､ עֶלְיוֹנִ֖ין

‘el·yō·w·nîn

of the Most High ､

יְבַלֵּ֑א

yə·ḇal·lê;

shall persecute

וְיִסְבַּ֗ר

wə·yis·bar,

and shall intend

לְהַשְׁנָיָה֙

lə·haš·nā·yāh

זִמְנִ֣ין

zim·nîn

– וְדָ֔ת

wə·ḏāṯ,

and law –

וְיִתְיַהֲב֣וּן

wə·yiṯ·ya·hă·ḇūn

and [the saints] shall be given

בִּידֵ֔הּ

bî·ḏêh,

עַד־

‘aḏ-

עִדָּ֥ן

‘id·dān

וְעִדָּנִ֖ין

wə·‘id·dā·nîn

וּפְלַ֥ג

ū·p̄ə·laḡ

and half

. עִדָּֽן׃

‘id·dān.

a time .

וְדִינָ֖א

wə·ḏî·nā

But court the

､ יִתִּ֑ב

yit·tiḇ;

shall be seated ､

､ וְשָׁלְטָנֵ֣הּ

wə·šā·lə·ṭā·nêh

and his dominion ､

יְהַעְדּ֔וֹן

yə·ha‘·dō·wn,

they shall take away

לְהַשְׁמָדָ֥ה

lə·haš·mā·ḏāh

וּלְהוֹבָדָ֖ה

ū·lə·hō·w·ḇā·ḏāh

and destroy [it]

עַד־

‘aḏ-

to

. סוֹפָֽא׃

sō·w·p̄ā.

וּמַלְכוּתָ֨ה

ū·mal·ḵū·ṯāh

And kingdom the

､ וְשָׁלְטָנָ֜א

wə·šā·lə·ṭā·nā

and dominion ､

וּרְבוּתָ֗א

ū·rə·ḇū·ṯā,

and greatness the

דִּ֚י

dî

of

מַלְכְוָת֙

mal·ḵə·wāṯ

תְּח֣וֹת

tə·ḥō·wṯ

כָּל־

kāl-

､ שְׁמַיָּ֔א

šə·may·yā,

heaven the ､

יְהִיבַ֕ת

yə·hî·ḇaṯ

לְעַ֖ם

lə·‘am

to the people

קַדִּישֵׁ֣י

qad·dî·šê

､ עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

‘el·yō·w·nîn;

of the Most High ､

מַלְכוּתֵהּ֙

mal·ḵū·ṯêh

His kingdom [is]

､ מַלְכ֣וּת

mal·ḵūṯ

עָלַ֔ם

‘ā·lam,

וְכֹל֙

wə·ḵōl

and all

שָׁלְטָ֣נַיָּ֔א

šā·lə·ṭā·nay·yā,

לֵ֥הּ

lêh

יִפְלְח֖וּן

yip̄·lə·ḥūn

. וְיִֽשְׁתַּמְּעֽוּן׃

wə·yiš·tam·mə·‘ūn.

and obey .

עַד־

‘aḏ-

כָּ֖ה

kāh

this [is]

סוֹפָ֣א

sō·w·p̄ā

end the

דִֽי־

ḏî-

of

. מִלְּתָ֑א

mil·lə·ṯā;

matter the .

אֲנָ֨ה

’ă·nāh

As for me

､ דָֽנִיֵּ֜אל

ḏā·nî·yêl

שַׂגִּ֣יא ׀

śag·gî

רַעְיוֹנַ֣י

ra‘·yō·w·nay

יְבַהֲלֻנַּ֗נִי

yə·ḇa·hă·lun·na·nî,

וְזִיוַי֙

wə·zî·way

and my countenance

יִשְׁתַּנּ֣וֹן

yiš·tan·nō·wn

עֲלַ֔י

‘ă·lay,

in

וּמִלְּתָ֖א

ū·mil·lə·ṯā

but account the

בְּלִבִּ֥י

bə·lib·bî

in my heart

. נִטְרֵֽת׃

niṭ·rêṯ.
