וְכִֽי־
wə·ḵî-
But if
יִהְיֶ֥ה
yih·yeh
אִישׁ֙
’îš
שֹׂנֵ֣א
śō·nê
to hate
､ לְרֵעֵ֔הוּ
lə·rê·‘ê·hū,
וְאָ֤רַב
wə·’ā·raḇ
and lies in wait
לוֹ֙
lōw
וְקָ֣ם
wə·qām
and rises
עָלָ֔יו
‘ā·lāw,
וְהִכָּ֥הוּ
wə·hik·kā·hū
נֶ֖פֶשׁ
ne·p̄eš
､ וָמֵ֑ת
wā·mêṯ;
so that he dies ､
וְנָ֕ס
wə·nās
and he flees
אֶל־
’el-
to
אַחַ֖ת
’a·ḥaṯ
､ הֶעָרִ֥ים
he·‘ā·rîm
of cities ､
. הָאֵֽל׃
hā·’êl.
