וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

and said

יְהוָ֜ה

Yah·weh

אֶל־

’el-

to

､ מֹשֶׁ֗ה

mō·šeh,

ע֣וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

נֶ֤גַע

ne·ḡa‘

אֶחָד֙

’e·ḥāḏ

אָבִ֤יא

’ā·ḇî

I will bring

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ פַּרְעֹה֙

par·‘ōh

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

– מִצְרַ֔יִם

miṣ·ra·yim,

אַֽחֲרֵי־

’a·ḥă·rê-

-

כֵ֕ן

ḵên

יְשַׁלַּ֥ח

yə·šal·laḥ

he will let go

אֶתְכֶ֖ם

’eṯ·ḵem

. מִזֶּ֑ה

miz·zeh;

from this [place] .

､ כְּשַׁ֨לְּח֔וֹ

kə·šal·lə·ḥōw,

When he lets [you] go ､

כָּלָ֕ה

kā·lāh

גָּרֵ֛שׁ

gā·rêš

יְגָרֵ֥שׁ

yə·ḡā·rêš

he will drive out

אֶתְכֶ֖ם

’eṯ·ḵem

. מִזֶּֽה׃

miz·zeh.

from this [place] .

דַּבֶּר־

dab·ber-

נָ֖א

nā

בְּאָזְנֵ֣י

bə·’ā·zə·nê

in the hearing

､ הָעָ֑ם

hā·‘ām;

of the people ､

וְיִשְׁאֲל֞וּ

wə·yiš·’ă·lū

אִ֣ישׁ ׀

’îš

מֵאֵ֣ת

mê·’êṯ

､ רֵעֵ֗הוּ

rê·‘ê·hū,

his neighbor ､

וְאִשָּׁה֙

wə·’iš·šāh

and every woman

מֵאֵ֣ת

mê·’êṯ

､ רְעוּתָ֔הּ

rə·‘ū·ṯāh,

her neighbor ､

כְּלֵי־

kə·lê-

､ כֶ֖סֶף

ḵe·sep̄

of silver ､

וּכְלֵ֥י

ū·ḵə·lê

. זָהָֽב׃

zā·hāḇ.

of gold .

וַיִּתֵּ֧ן

way·yit·tên

And gave

יְהוָ֛ה

Yah·weh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

חֵ֥ן

ḥên

הָעָ֖ם

hā·‘ām

בְּעֵינֵ֣י

bə·‘ê·nê

in the sight

. מִצְרָ֑יִם

miṣ·rā·yim;

of Egypt .

גַּ֣ם ׀

gam

הָאִ֣ישׁ

hā·’îš

the man

מֹשֶׁ֗ה

mō·šeh,

גָּד֤וֹל

gā·ḏō·wl

מְאֹד֙

mə·’ōḏ

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

in the land

､ מִצְרַ֔יִם

miṣ·ra·yim,

of Egypt ､

בְּעֵינֵ֥י

bə·‘ê·nê

in the sight

עַבְדֵֽי־

‘aḇ·ḏê-

､ פַרְעֹ֖ה

p̄ar·‘ōh

of Pharaoh ､

וּבְעֵינֵ֥י

ū·ḇə·‘ê·nê

and in the sight

. הָעָֽם׃

hā·‘ām.

of the people .

And said ､

מֹשֶׁ֔ה

mō·šeh,

כֹּ֖ה

kōh

אָמַ֣ר

’ā·mar

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

כַּחֲצֹ֣ת

ka·ḥă·ṣōṯ

הַלַּ֔יְלָה

hal·lay·lāh,

אֲנִ֥י

’ă·nî

I

יוֹצֵ֖א

yō·w·ṣê

will go out

בְּת֥וֹךְ

bə·ṯō·wḵ

､ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

miṣ·rā·yim.

of Egypt ､

וּמֵ֣ת

ū·mêṯ

כָּל־

kāl-

בְּכוֹר֮

bə·ḵō·wr

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

in the land

､ מִצְרַיִם֒

miṣ·ra·yim

of Egypt ､

מִבְּכ֤וֹר

mib·bə·ḵō·wr

from the firstborn

פַּרְעֹה֙

par·‘ōh

הַיֹּשֵׁ֣ב

hay·yō·šêḇ

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ כִּסְא֔וֹ

kis·’ōw,

עַ֚ד

‘aḏ

בְּכ֣וֹר

bə·ḵō·wr

הַשִּׁפְחָ֔ה

haš·šip̄·ḥāh,

of the maidservant

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

אַחַ֣ר

’a·ḥar

– הָרֵחָ֑יִם

hā·rê·ḥā·yim;

the handmill –

וְכֹ֖ל

wə·ḵōl

and all

בְּכ֥וֹר

bə·ḵō·wr

. בְּהֵמָֽה׃

bə·hê·māh.

of the animals .

וְהָֽיְתָ֛ה

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

And there shall be

צְעָקָ֥ה

ṣə·‘ā·qāh

גְדֹלָ֖ה

ḡə·ḏō·lāh

בְּכָל־

bə·ḵāl

אֶ֣רֶץ

’e·reṣ

the land

､ מִצְרָ֑יִם

miṣ·rā·yim;

of Egypt ､

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

’ă·šer

כָּמֹ֙הוּ֙

kā·mō·hū

לֹ֣א

lō

not

､ נִהְיָ֔תָה

nih·yā·ṯāh,

was ､

וְכָמֹ֖הוּ

wə·ḵā·mō·hū

and shall be like it [before]

לֹ֥א

lō

. תֹסִֽף׃

ṯō·sip̄.

וּלְכֹ֣ל ׀

ū·lə·ḵōl

But against any

בְּנֵ֣י

bə·nê

the sons

יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל

yiś·rā·’êl,

לֹ֤א

lō

not

יֶֽחֱרַץ־

ye·ḥĕ·raṣ-

כֶּ֙לֶב֙

ke·leḇ

､ לְשֹׁנ֔וֹ

lə·šō·nōw,

לְמֵאִ֖ישׁ

lə·mê·’îš

וְעַד־

wə·‘aḏ-

or

､ בְּהֵמָ֑ה

bə·hê·māh;

לְמַ֙עַן֙

lə·ma·‘an

תֵּֽדְע֔וּן

tê·ḏə·‘ūn,

אֲשֶׁר֙

’ă·šer

יַפְלֶ֣ה

yap̄·leh

does make a difference

יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

בֵּ֥ין

bên

מִצְרַ֖יִם

miṣ·ra·yim

וּבֵ֥ין

ū·ḇên

and

. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

yiś·rā·’êl.

וְיָרְד֣וּ

wə·yā·rə·ḏū

And shall come down

כָל־

ḵāl

עֲבָדֶיךָ֩

‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā

אֵ֨לֶּה

’êl·leh

אֵלַ֜י

’ê·lay

to me

וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוּוּ־

wə·hiš·ta·ḥăw·wū-

לִ֣י‪‬

lî

to me

､ לֵאמֹ֗ר

lê·mōr,

צֵ֤א

ṣê

אַתָּה֙

’at·tāh

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

הָעָ֣ם

hā·‘ām

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

. בְּרַגְלֶ֔יךָ

bə·raḡ·le·ḵā,

וְאַחֲרֵי־

wə·’a·ḥă·rê-

כֵ֖ן

ḵên

אֵצֵ֑א

’ê·ṣê;

I will go out

וַיֵּצֵ֥א

way·yê·ṣê

and he went out

מֵֽעִם־

mê·‘im-

פַּרְעֹ֖ה

par·‘ōh

בָּחֳרִי־

bā·ḥo·rî-

. אָֽף׃

’āp̄.

But said

יְהוָה֙

Yah·weh

אֶל־

’el-

to

､ מֹשֶׁ֔ה

mō·šeh,

לֹא־

lō-

not

יִשְׁמַ֥ע

yiš·ma‘

will heed

אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם

’ă·lê·ḵem

､ פַּרְעֹ֑ה

par·‘ōh;

לְמַ֛עַן

lə·ma·‘an

רְב֥וֹת

rə·ḇō·wṯ

may be multiplied

מוֹפְתַ֖י

mō·wp̄·ṯay

בְּאֶ֥רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

in the land

. מִצְרָֽיִם׃

miṣ·rā·yim.

of Egypt .

וּמֹשֶׁ֣ה

ū·mō·šeh

וְאַהֲרֹ֗ן

wə·’a·hă·rōn,

עָשׂ֛וּ

‘ā·śū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

הַמֹּפְתִ֥ים

ham·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm

הָאֵ֖לֶּה

hā·’êl·leh

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

– פַרְעֹ֑ה

p̄ar·‘ōh;

וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק

way·ḥaz·zêq

יְהוָה֙

Yah·weh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

לֵ֣ב

lêḇ

､ פַּרְעֹ֔ה

par·‘ōh,

of Pharaoh ､

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

and not

שִׁלַּ֥ח

šil·laḥ

he did let go

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בְּנֵֽי־

bə·nê-

the sons

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

yiś·rā·’êl

. מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃

mê·’ar·ṣōw.

out of his land .
