וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־
way·ya·‘ă·śū-
And they did
– כֵ֗ן
ḵên,
so –
וַיֵּט֩
way·yêṭ
אַהֲרֹ֨ן
’a·hă·rōn
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
יָד֤וֹ
yā·ḏōw
､ בְמַטֵּ֙הוּ֙
ḇə·maṭ·ṭê·hū
with his rod ､
וַיַּךְ֙
way·yaḵ
and struck
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
עֲפַ֣ר
‘ă·p̄ar
the dust
､ הָאָ֔רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
of the earth ､
וַתְּהִי֙
wat·tə·hî
and it became
הַכִּנָּ֔ם
hak·kin·nām,
､ בָּאָדָ֖ם
bā·’ā·ḏām
on man ､
– וּבַבְּהֵמָ֑ה
ū·ḇab·bə·hê·māh;
and beast –
כָּל־
kāl-
עֲפַ֥ר
‘ă·p̄ar
the dust
הָאָ֛רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ
of the land
הָיָ֥ה
hā·yāh
כִנִּ֖ים
ḵin·nîm
בְּכָל־
bə·ḵāl
אֶ֥רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
. מִצְרָֽיִם׃
miṣ·rā·yim.
of Egypt .
