וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֕ם
wa·’ă·mar·tem
And yet you say
؟ מַדֻּ֛עַ
mad·du·a‘
why ؟
לֹא־
lō-
not
נָשָׂ֥א
nā·śā
הַבֵּ֖ן
hab·bên
the son
בַּעֲוֺ֣ן
ba·‘ă·wōn
the guilt
؟ הָאָ֑ב
hā·’āḇ;
of the father ؟
וְהַבֵּ֞ן
wə·hab·bên
and because the son
מִשְׁפָּ֧ט
miš·pāṭ
､ וּצְדָקָ֣ה
ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh
and right ､
עָשָׂ֗ה
‘ā·śāh,
אֵ֣ת
’êṯ
-
כָּל־
kāl-
､ חֻקּוֹתַ֥י
ḥuq·qō·w·ṯay
My statutes ､
שָׁמַ֛ר
šā·mar
and has kept
וַיַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה
way·ya·‘ă·śeh
אֹתָ֖ם
’ō·ṯām
חָיֹ֥ה
ḥā·yōh
. יִחְיֶֽה׃
yiḥ·yeh.
he shall live .
