הָיָ֣ה ׀

הַקֶּ֣סֶם
haq·qe·sem
､ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם
yə·rū·šā·lim,
לָשׂ֤וּם
lā·śūm
to set up
､ כָּרִים֙
kā·rîm
לִפְתֹּ֤חַ
lip̄·tō·aḥ
פֶּה֙
peh
the mouth
､ בְּרֶ֔צַח
bə·re·ṣaḥ,
a slaughter ､
לְהָרִ֥ים
lə·hā·rîm
to lift
ק֖וֹל
qō·wl
the voice
､ בִּתְרוּעָ֑ה
biṯ·rū·‘āh;
with shouting ､
לָשׂ֤וּם
lā·śūm
to set
כָּרִים֙
kā·rîm
עַל־
‘al-
､ שְׁעָרִ֔ים
šə·‘ā·rîm,
the gates ､
לִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְ
liš·pōḵ
to heap up
､ סֹלְלָ֖ה
sō·lə·lāh
a [siege] mound ､
לִבְנ֥וֹת
liḇ·nō·wṯ
and to build
. דָּיֵֽק׃
dā·yêq.
a wall .
