וַיְבִיאֵ֖נִי

way·ḇî·’ê·nî

And he brought me

אֶל־

’el-

､ הַהֵיכָ֑ל

ha·hê·ḵāl;

the sanctuary ､

וַיָּ֣מָד

way·yā·māḏ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הָאֵילִ֗ים

hā·’ê·lîm,

the doorposts ､

שֵׁשׁ־

šêš-

אַמּ֨וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

רֹ֧חַב־

rō·ḥaḇ-

､ מִפּ֛וֹ

mip·pōw

on one side ､

וְשֵׁשׁ־

wə·šêš-

and six

אַמּֽוֹת־

’am·mō·wṯ-

רֹ֥חַב

rō·ḥaḇ

､ מִפּ֖וֹ

mip·pōw

on the other side ､

רֹ֥חַב

rō·ḥaḇ

. הָאֹֽהֶל׃

hā·’ō·hel.

of the tabernacle .

וְרֹ֣חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

And the width

הַפֶּתַח֮

hap·pe·ṯaḥ

of the entryway

עֶ֣שֶׂר

‘e·śer

– אַמּוֹת֒

’am·mō·wṯ

וְכִתְפ֣וֹת

wə·ḵiṯ·p̄ō·wṯ

and the side walls

הַפֶּ֔תַח

hap·pe·ṯaḥ,

of the entrance

חָמֵ֤שׁ

ḥā·mêš

אַמּוֹת֙

’am·mō·wṯ

､ מִפּ֔וֹ

mip·pōw,

on this side ､

וְחָמֵ֥שׁ

wə·ḥā·mêš

and five

אַמּ֖וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

. מִפּ֑וֹ

mip·pōw;

on the other side .

וַיָּ֤מָד

way·yā·māḏ

And he measured

אָרְכּוֹ֙

’ā·rə·kōw

אַרְבָּעִ֣ים

’ar·bā·‘îm

. אַמָּ֔ה

’am·māh,

､ וְרֹ֖חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

And its width ､

עֶשְׂרִ֥ים

‘eś·rîm

. אַמָּֽה׃

’am·māh.

וּבָ֣א

ū·ḇā

And he went

､ לִפְנִ֔ימָה

lip̄·nî·māh,

וַיָּ֥מָד

way·yā·māḏ

אֵֽיל־

’êl-

the post

､ הַפֶּ֖תַח

hap·pe·ṯaḥ

the doorposts ､

שְׁתַּ֣יִם

šə·ta·yim

– אַמּ֑וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ;

､ וְהַפֶּ֙תַח֙

wə·hap·pe·ṯaḥ

and the entrance ､

שֵׁ֣שׁ

šêš

– אַמּ֔וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ,

cubits [high] –

וְרֹ֥חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

and the width

､ הַפֶּ֖תַח

hap·pe·ṯaḥ

of the entrance ､

שֶׁ֥בַע

še·ḇa‘

. אַמּֽוֹת׃

’am·mō·wṯ.

וַיָּ֨מָד

way·yā·māḏ

And He measured

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

אָרְכּ֜וֹ

’ā·rə·kōw

עֶשְׂרִ֣ים

‘eś·rîm

– אַמָּ֗ה

’am·māh,

､ וְרֹ֛חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

and the width ､

עֶשְׂרִ֥ים

‘eś·rîm

､ אַמָּ֖ה

’am·māh

אֶל־

’el-

to

פְּנֵ֣י

pə·nê

– הַֽהֵיכָ֑ל

ha·hê·ḵāl;

the sanctuary –

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

way·yō·mer

and he said

אֵלַ֔י

’ê·lay,

to me

זֶ֖ה

zeh

this [is]

קֹ֥דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

. הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃

haq·qo·ḏā·šîm.

the Most .

וַיָּ֥מָד

way·yā·māḏ

And Next he measured

קִֽיר־

qîr-

the wall

､ הַבַּ֖יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

of the temple ､

שֵׁ֣שׁ

šêš

– אַמּ֑וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ;

וְרֹ֣חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

and the width

､ הַצֵּלָע֩

haṣ·ṣê·lā‘

of each side chamber ､

אַרְבַּ֨ע

’ar·ba‘

､ אַמּ֜וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

סָבִ֧יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

סָבִ֛יב

sā·ḇîḇ

לַבַּ֖יִת

lab·ba·yiṯ

. סָבִֽיב׃

sā·ḇîḇ.

on every side .

וְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩

wə·haṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ

And the side chambers [were]

צֵלָ֨ע

ṣê·lā‘

אֶל־

’el-

､ צֵלָ֜ע

ṣê·lā‘

the other ､

､ שָׁל֧וֹשׁ

šā·lō·wōš

[in] three [stories] ､

וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים

ū·šə·lō·šîm

and thirty [chambers]

– פְּעָמִ֗ים

pə·‘ā·mîm,

in each story –

וּ֠בָאוֹת

ū·ḇā·’ō·wṯ

and they rested

בַּקִּ֨יר

baq·qîr

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

לַבַּ֧יִת

lab·ba·yiṯ

of the house

לַצְּלָע֛וֹת

laṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ

for the side chambers

סָבִ֥יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

､ סָבִ֖יב

sā·ḇîḇ

לִהְי֣וֹת

lih·yō·wṯ

that they might be

､ אֲחוּזִ֑ים

’ă·ḥū·zîm;

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

but not

יִהְי֥וּ

yih·yū

אֲחוּזִ֖ים

’ă·ḥū·zîm

בְּקִ֥יר

bə·qîr

to the wall

. הַבָּֽיִת׃

hab·bā·yiṯ.

of the temple .

､ וְֽרָחֲבָ֡ה

wə·rā·ḥă·ḇāh

And became wider ､

וְֽנָסְבָה֩

wə·nā·sə·ḇāh

and as one went up

לְמַ֨עְלָה

lə·ma‘·lāh

לְמַ֜עְלָה

lə·ma‘·lāh

– לַצְּלָע֗וֹת

laṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ,

the side chambers –

כִּ֣י

kî

מֽוּסַב־

mū·saḇ-

their supporting ledges in the [wall]

הַ֠בַּיִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

of the temple

לְמַ֨עְלָה

lə·ma‘·lāh

לְמַ֜עְלָה

lə·ma‘·lāh

סָבִ֤יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

סָבִיב֙

sā·ḇîḇ

､ לַבַּ֔יִת

lab·ba·yiṯ,

of the temple ､

עַל־

‘al-

כֵּ֥ן

kên

רֹֽחַב־

rō·ḥaḇ-

לַבַּ֖יִת

lab·ba·yiṯ

of the structure

､ לְמָ֑עְלָה

lə·mā·‘ə·lāh;

as one went up ､

וְכֵ֧ן

wə·ḵên

and

הַתַּחְתּוֹנָ֛ה

hat·taḥ·tō·w·nāh

[from] the lowest [story]

יַעֲלֶ֥ה

ya·‘ă·leh

עַל־

‘al-

to

הָעֶלְיוֹנָ֖ה

hā·‘el·yō·w·nāh

. לַתִּיכוֹנָֽה׃

lat·tî·ḵō·w·nāh.

by the way of middle one .

וְרָאִ֧יתִי

wə·rā·’î·ṯî

And I saw

לַבַּ֛יִת

lab·ba·yiṯ

גֹּ֖בַהּ

gō·ḇah

סָבִ֣יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

– סָבִ֑יב

sā·ḇîḇ;

[מיסדות]

mə·yus·sə·ḏō·wṯ

-

(מוּסְד֤וֹת)

mū·sə·ḏō·wṯ

it was the foundation of

הַצְּלָעוֹת֙

haṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ

the side chambers

מְל֣וֹ

mə·lōw

הַקָּנֶ֔ה

haq·qā·neh,

שֵׁ֥שׁ

šêš

[that] [is] six

אַמּ֖וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

. אַצִּֽילָה׃

’aṣ·ṣî·lāh.

רֹ֣חַב

rō·ḥaḇ

､ הַקִּ֧יר

haq·qîr

of the wall ､

אֲ‍ֽשֶׁר־

’ăšer-

-

לַצֵּלָ֛ע

laṣ·ṣê·lā‘

of the side chambers

אֶל־

’el-

of

､ הַח֖וּץ

ha·ḥūṣ

חָמֵ֣שׁ

ḥā·mêš

. אַמּ֑וֹת

וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר

the remaining terrace by

of the side chambers

of the temple .

And between [it]

הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת

[and] the [wall] chambers was

רֹ֣חַב

rō·ḥaḇ

עֶשְׂרִ֥ים

‘eś·rîm

אַמָּ֛ה

’am·māh

סָבִ֥יב

sā·ḇîḇ

לַבַּ֖יִת

lab·ba·yiṯ

סָבִ֥יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

. סָבִֽיב׃

sā·ḇîḇ.

וּפֶ֤תַח

ū·p̄e·ṯaḥ

And the doors

הַצֵּלָע֙

haṣ·ṣê·lā‘

of the side chambers

לַמֻּנָּ֔ח

lam·mun·nāḥ,

opened on the terrace

פֶּ֤תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

אֶחָד֙

’e·ḥāḏ

דֶּ֣רֶךְ

de·reḵ

､ הַצָּפ֔וֹן

haṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn,

the north ､

וּפֶ֥תַח

ū·p̄e·ṯaḥ

and door

אֶחָ֖ד

’e·ḥāḏ

– לַדָּר֑וֹם

lad·dā·rō·wm;

toward the south –

וְרֹ֙חַב֙

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

and the width

מְק֣וֹם

mə·qō·wm

of

הַמֻּנָּ֔ח

ham·mun·nāḥ,

חָמֵ֥שׁ

ḥā·mêš

אַמּ֖וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

סָבִ֥יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

. סָבִֽיב׃

sā·ḇîḇ.

וְהַבִּנְיָ֡ן

wə·hab·bin·yān

And the building

אֲשֶׁר֩

’ă·šer

אֶל־

’el-

to

פְּנֵ֨י

הַגִּזְרָ֜ה

hag·giz·rāh

the separating courtyard

פְּאַ֣ת

pə·’aṯ

דֶּֽרֶךְ־

de·reḵ-

הַיָּ֗ם

hay·yām,

– רֹ֚חַב

rō·ḥaḇ

wide –

שִׁבְעִ֣ים

šiḇ·‘îm

אַמָּ֔ה

וְקִ֧יר

and the wall

הַבִּנְיָ֛ן

hab·bin·yān

of the building

חָֽמֵשׁ־

אַמּ֥וֹת

רֹ֖חַב

rō·ḥaḇ

וְאָרְכּ֖וֹ

תִּשְׁעִ֥ים

the temple ､

– אֹ֖רֶךְ

､ וְהַגִּזְרָ֤ה

wə·hag·giz·rāh

and the separating courtyard ､

､ וְהַבִּנְיָה֙

wə·hab·bin·yāh

and the with building ､

וְקִ֣ירוֹתֶ֔יהָ

wə·qî·rō·w·ṯe·hā,

– אֹ֖רֶךְ

’ō·reḵ

long –

מֵאָ֥ה

mê·’āh

[was] a hundred

. אַמָּֽה׃

’am·māh.

וְרֹחַב֩

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

And the width

פְּנֵ֨י

pə·nê

of the face

､ הַבַּ֧יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

of the temple ､

וְהַגִּזְרָ֛ה

wə·hag·giz·rāh

and including the separating courtyard

､ לַקָּדִ֖ים

laq·qā·ḏîm

מֵאָ֥ה

mê·’āh

[was] a hundred

. אַמָּֽה׃

’am·māh.

וּמָדַ֣ד

ū·mā·ḏaḏ

And He measured

אֹֽרֶךְ־

’ō·reḵ-

הַ֠בִּנְיָן

hab·bin·yān

of the building

אֶל־

’el-

to

פְּנֵ֨י

pə·nê

הַגִּזְרָ֜ה

hag·giz·rāh

the separating courtyard

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

-

עַל־

‘al-

אַחֲרֶ֧יהָ

’a·ḥă·re·hā

[ואתוקיהא]

wə·’at·tū·qê·hā

-

(וְאַתִּיקֶ֛יהָא)

wə·’at·tî·qe·hā

with its galleries

מִפּ֥וֹ

mip·pōw

on the one side

､ וּמִפּ֖וֹ

ū·mip·pōw

and on the other side ､

מֵאָ֣ה

mê·’āh

､ אַמָּ֑ה

’am·māh;

､ וְהַֽהֵיכָל֙

wə·ha·hê·ḵāl

and as well as the temple ､

הַפְּנִימִ֔י

hap·pə·nî·mî,

וְאֻֽלַמֵּ֖י

wə·’u·lam·mê

and the porches

– הֶחָצֵֽר׃

he·ḥā·ṣêr.

of the court –

､ הַסִּפִּ֡ים

has·sip·pîm

their doorposts ､

､ וְהַחַלּוֹנִ֣ים

wə·ha·ḥal·lō·w·nîm

and the window [frames] ､

הָ֠אֲטֻמוֹת

hā·’ă·ṭu·mō·wṯ

וְהָאַתִּיקִ֤ים ׀

wə·hā·’at·tî·qîm

and the galleries

סָבִיב֙

sā·ḇîḇ

､ לִשְׁלָשְׁתָּ֔ם

liš·lā·šə·tām,

[their] three [stories] ､

נֶ֧גֶד

ne·ḡeḏ

､ הַסַּ֛ף

has·sap̄

the threshold ､

שְׂחִ֥יף

śə·ḥîp̄

were paneled with

עֵ֖ץ

‘êṣ

סָבִ֣יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

､ סָבִ֑יב

sā·ḇîḇ;

all ､

וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and the from ground

עַד־

‘aḏ-

to

､ הַֽחַלֹּנ֔וֹת

ha·ḥal·lō·nō·wṯ,

the windows ､

וְהַֽחַלֹּנ֖וֹת

wə·ha·ḥal·lō·nō·wṯ

and the windows

– מְכֻסּֽוֹת׃

mə·ḵus·sō·wṯ.

were covered –

עַל־

‘al-

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

the space above

､ הַפֶּ֡תַח

hap·pe·ṯaḥ

the door ､

וְעַד־

wə·‘aḏ-

and even to

､ הַבַּיִת֩

hab·ba·yiṯ

the room ､

הַפְּנִימִ֨י

hap·pə·nî·mî

､ וְלַח֜וּץ

wə·la·ḥūṣ

and as well as outside ､

וְאֶל־

wə·’el-

and on

כָּל־

kāl-

הַקִּ֨יר

haq·qîr

סָבִ֧יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

סָבִ֛יב

sā·ḇîḇ

בַּפְּנִימִ֥י

bap·pə·nî·mî

､ וּבַחִיצ֖וֹן

ū·ḇa·ḥî·ṣō·wn

and outside ､

. מִדּֽוֹת׃

mid·dō·wṯ.

וְעָשׂ֥וּי

wə·‘ā·śui

And [it] [was] made

כְּרוּבִ֖ים

kə·rū·ḇîm

､ וְתִֽמֹרִ֑ים

wə·ṯi·mō·rîm;

and palm trees ､

וְתִֽמֹרָה֙

wə·ṯi·mō·rāh

and a palm tree

בֵּין־

bên-

כְּר֣וּב

kə·rūḇ

– לִכְר֔וּב

liḵ·rūḇ,

and cherub –

וּשְׁנַ֥יִם

ū·šə·na·yim

and two

– פָּנִ֖ים

pā·nîm

. לַכְּרֽוּב׃

lak·kə·rūḇ.

had [Each] cherub .

וּפְנֵ֨י

ū·p̄ə·nê

So that the face

אָדָ֤ם

’ā·ḏām

of a man

אֶל־

’el-

הַתִּֽמֹרָה֙

hat·ti·mō·rāh

､ מִפּ֔וֹ

mip·pōw,

on one side ､

וּפְנֵֽי־

ū·p̄ə·nê-

and the face

כְפִ֥יר

ḵə·p̄îr

of a young lion

אֶל־

’el-

הַתִּֽמֹרָ֖ה

hat·ti·mō·rāh

– מִפּ֑וֹ

mip·pōw;

on the other side –

עָשׂ֥וּי

‘ā·śui

thus [it] [was] made

אֶל־

’el-

כָּל־

kāl-

הַבַּ֖יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

סָבִ֥יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

. סָבִֽיב׃

sā·ḇîḇ.

מֵהָאָ֙רֶץ֙

mê·hā·’ā·reṣ

עַד־

‘aḏ-

to

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

the space above

הַפֶּ֔תַח

hap·pe·ṯaḥ,

the door

הַכְּרוּבִ֥ים

hak·kə·rū·ḇîm

וְהַתִּֽמֹרִ֖ים

wə·hat·ti·mō·rîm

､ עֲשׂוּיִ֑ם

‘ă·śū·yim;

[were] carved ､

וְקִ֖יר

wə·qîr

and on the wall

. הַׄהֵׄיׄכָֽׄלׄ׃‪‬

ha·hê·ḵāl

of the sanctuary .

הַֽהֵיכָ֖ל

ha·hê·ḵāl

מְזוּזַ֣ת

mə·zū·zaṯ

､ רְבֻעָ֑ה

rə·ḇu·‘āh;

of [were] square ､

וּפְנֵ֣י

ū·p̄ə·nê

and [as] [was] the front

– הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ

haq·qō·ḏeš,

of the sanctuary –

הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה

ham·mar·’eh

their appearance

. כַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃

kam·mar·’eh.

הַמִּזְבֵּ֡חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

The altar [was]

עֵ֣ץ

‘êṣ

שָׁלוֹשׁ֩

šā·lō·wōš

אַמּ֨וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

､ גָּבֹ֜הַּ

gā·ḇō·ah

high ､

וְאָרְכּ֣וֹ

wə·’ā·rə·kōw

שְׁתַּֽיִם־

šə·ta·yim-

– אַמּ֗וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ,

וּמִקְצֹֽעוֹתָיו֙

ū·miq·ṣō·‘ō·w·ṯāw

ל֔וֹ

lōw,

וְאָרְכּ֥וֹ

wə·’ā·rə·kōw

וְקִֽירֹתָ֖יו

wə·qî·rō·ṯāw

and its sides [were]

. עֵ֑ץ

‘êṣ;

of wood .

וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר

way·ḏab·bêr

And he said

אֵלַ֔י

’ê·lay,

to me

זֶ֚ה

zeh

this [is]

הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן

haš·šul·ḥān,

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

that [is]

לִפְנֵ֥י

lip̄·nê

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וּשְׁתַּ֧יִם

ū·šə·ta·yim

And two

דְּלָת֛וֹת

də·lā·ṯō·wṯ

לַֽהֵיכָ֖ל

la·hê·ḵāl

. וְלַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

wə·laq·qō·ḏeš.

and had the sanctuary .

וּשְׁתַּ֥יִם

ū·šə·ta·yim

And two

דְּלָת֖וֹת

də·lā·ṯō·wṯ

לַדְּלָת֑וֹת

lad·də·lā·ṯō·wṯ;

had panels [apiece]

שְׁ֚תַּיִם

ta·yim

מוּסַבּ֣וֹת

mū·sab·bō·wṯ

– דְּלָת֔וֹת

də·lā·ṯō·wṯ,

שְׁ֚תַּיִם

ta·yim

､ לְדֶ֣לֶת

lə·ḏe·leṯ

אֶחָ֔ת

’e·ḥāṯ,

וּשְׁתֵּ֥י

ū·šə·tê

and two

דְלָת֖וֹת

ḏə·lā·ṯō·wṯ

. לָאַחֶֽרֶת׃

lā·’a·ḥe·reṯ.

for the other [door] .

וַעֲשׂוּיָ֨ה

wa·‘ă·śū·yāh

And [were] carved

אֲלֵיהֶ֜ן

’ă·lê·hen

אֶל־

’el-

on

דַּלְת֤וֹת

dal·ṯō·wṯ

､ הַֽהֵיכָל֙

ha·hê·ḵāl

of the temple ､

כְּרוּבִ֣ים

kə·rū·ḇîm

､ וְתִֽמֹרִ֔ים

wə·ṯi·mō·rîm,

and palm trees ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר

ka·’ă·šer

עֲשׂוּיִ֖ם

‘ă·śū·yim

they [were] carved

– לַקִּיר֑וֹת

laq·qî·rō·wṯ;

on the walls –

וְעָ֥ב

wə·‘āḇ

and a canopy [was]

עֵ֛ץ

‘êṣ

אֶל־

’el-

on

פְּנֵ֥י

pə·nê

the front of

הָאוּלָ֖ם

hā·’ū·lām

. מֵהַחֽוּץ׃

mê·ha·ḥūṣ.

וְחַלּוֹנִ֨ים

wə·ḥal·lō·w·nîm

And [There] [were] window [frames]

אֲטֻמ֤וֹת

’ă·ṭu·mō·wṯ

וְתִֽמֹרִים֙

wə·ṯi·mō·rîm

מִפּ֣וֹ

mip·pōw

､ וּמִפּ֔וֹ

ū·mip·pōw,

and on the other ､

אֶל־

’el-

on

כִּתְפ֖וֹת

kiṯ·p̄ō·wṯ

the sides of

､ הָֽאוּלָ֑ם

hā·’ū·lām;

the vestibule ､

וְצַלְע֥וֹת

wə·ṣal·‘ō·wṯ

and on the side chambers

､ הַבַּ֖יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

of the temple ､

. וְהָעֻבִּֽים׃

wə·hā·‘ub·bîm.

and On the canopies .
