וַיּוֹלִכֵ֖נִי

way·yō·w·li·ḵê·nî

And afterward he brought me

אֶל־

’el-

to

､ הַשָּׁ֑עַר

haš·šā·‘ar;

the gate ､

שַׁ֕עַר

ša·‘ar

the gate

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

פֹּנֶ֖ה

pō·neh

דֶּ֥רֶךְ

de·reḵ

– הַקָּדִֽים׃

haq·qā·ḏîm.

the east –

､ וְהִנֵּ֗ה

wə·hin·nêh,

and behold ､

כְּבוֹד֙

kə·ḇō·wḏ

אֱלֹהֵ֣י

’ĕ·lō·hê

of the God

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

yiś·rā·’êl,

בָּ֖א

bā

מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ

mid·de·reḵ

. הַקָּדִ֑ים

haq·qā·ḏîm;

of the east .

וְקוֹל֗וֹ

wə·qō·w·lōw,

And His voice [was]

כְּקוֹל֙

kə·qō·wl

– מַ֣יִם

ma·yim

of waters –

רַבִּ֔ים

rab·bîm,

וְהָאָ֖רֶץ

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and the earth

הֵאִ֥ירָה

hê·’î·rāh

. מִכְּבֹדֽוֹ׃

mik·kə·ḇō·ḏōw.

with His glory .

וּכְמַרְאֵ֨ה

ū·ḵə·mar·’êh

And [It] [was] like the appearance

הַמַּרְאֶ֜ה

ham·mar·’eh

of the vision

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

､ רָאִ֗יתִי

rā·’î·ṯî,

I saw ､

כַּמַּרְאֶ֤ה

kam·mar·’eh

like the vision

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

רָאִ֙יתִי֙

rā·’î·ṯî

בְּבֹאִי֙

bə·ḇō·’î

לְשַׁחֵ֣ת

lə·ša·ḥêṯ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. הָעִ֔יר

hā·‘îr,

the city .

וּמַרְא֕וֹת

ū·mar·’ō·wṯ

And the visions [were]

כַּמַּרְאֶ֕ה

kam·mar·’eh

like the vision

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

רָאִ֖יתִי

rā·’î·ṯî

אֶל־

’el-

by

נְהַר־

nə·har-

– כְּבָ֑ר

kə·ḇār;

וָאֶפֹּ֖ל

wā·’ep·pōl

and I fell

אֶל־

’el-

on

. פָּנָֽי׃

pā·nāy.

my face .

וּכְב֥וֹד

ū·ḵə·ḇō·wḏ

And the glory

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

בָּ֣א

bā

אֶל־

’el-

הַבָּ֑יִת

hab·bā·yiṯ;

דֶּ֣רֶךְ

de·reḵ

by way

שַׁ֔עַר

ša·‘ar,

of the gate

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

פָּנָ֖יו

pā·nāw

דֶּ֥רֶךְ

de·reḵ

. הַקָּדִֽים׃

haq·qā·ḏîm.

the east .

､ וַתִּשָּׂאֵ֣נִי

wat·tiś·śā·’ê·nî

And lifted me up ､

ר֔וּחַ

rū·aḥ,

וַתְּבִיאֵ֕נִי

wat·tə·ḇî·’ê·nî

and brought me

אֶל־

’el-

– הֶֽחָצֵ֖ר

he·ḥā·ṣêr

the court –

הַפְּנִימִ֑י

hap·pə·nî·mî;

､ וְהִנֵּ֛ה

wə·hin·nêh

and behold ､

מָלֵ֥א

mā·lê

כְבוֹד־

ḵə·ḇō·wḏ-

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

. הַבָּֽיִת׃

hab·bā·yiṯ.

the temple .

וָאֶשְׁמַ֛ע

wā·’eš·ma‘

And I heard

מִדַּבֵּ֥ר

mid·dab·bêr

אֵלַ֖י

’ê·lay

to me

– מֵהַבָּ֑יִת

mê·hab·bā·yiṯ;

from the temple –

וְאִ֕ישׁ

wə·’îš

and while a man

הָיָ֥ה

hā·yāh

עֹמֵ֖ד

‘ō·mêḏ

. אֶצְלִֽי׃

’eṣ·lî.

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

way·yō·mer

And He said

אֵלַ֗י

’ê·lay,

to me

בֶּן־

ben-

､ אָדָם֙

’ā·ḏām

of man ､

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

מְק֣וֹם

mə·qō·wm

[this] [is] the place

､ כִּסְאִ֗י

kis·’î,

of My throne ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

מְקוֹם֙

mə·qō·wm

כַּפּ֣וֹת

kap·pō·wṯ

of the soles

､ רַגְלַ֔י

raḡ·lay,

of My feet ､

אֲשֶׁ֧ר

’ă·šer

אֶשְׁכָּן־

’eš·kān-

I will dwell

שָׁ֛ם

šām

בְּת֥וֹךְ

bə·ṯō·wḵ

in the midst

בְּנֵֽי־

bə·nê-

of the sons

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

yiś·rā·’êl

､ לְעוֹלָ֑ם

lə·‘ō·w·lām;

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

and No

､ יְטַמְּא֣וּ

yə·ṭam·mə·’ū

shall defile ､

ע֣וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

בֵּֽית־

bêṯ-

יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל

yiś·rā·’êl

､ שֵׁ֣ם

šêm

name ､

קָדְשִׁ֞י

qāḏ·šî

､ הֵ֤מָּה

hêm·māh

they ､

､ וּמַלְכֵיהֶם֙

ū·mal·ḵê·hem

and nor their kings ､

､ בִּזְנוּתָ֔ם

biz·nū·ṯām,

by their harlotry ､

וּבְפִגְרֵ֥י

ū·ḇə·p̄iḡ·rê

or with the carcasses

מַלְכֵיהֶ֖ם

mal·ḵê·hem

. בָּמוֹתָֽם׃

bā·mō·w·ṯām.

on their high places .

בְּתִתָּ֨ם

bə·ṯit·tām

סִפָּ֜ם

sip·pām

their threshold

אֶת־

’eṯ-

by

､ סִפִּ֗י

sip·pî,

My threshold ､

וּמְזֽוּזָתָם֙

ū·mə·zū·zā·ṯām

and their doorpost

אֵ֣צֶל

’ê·ṣel

by

､ מְזוּזָתִ֔י

mə·zū·zā·ṯî,

My doorpost ､

וְהַקִּ֖יר

wə·haq·qîr

and with a wall

בֵּינִ֣י

bê·nî

וּבֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם

ū·ḇê·nê·hem;

and them

וְטִמְּא֣וּ ׀

wə·ṭim·mə·’ū

and they defiled

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שֵׁ֣ם

šêm

קָדְשִׁ֗י

qāḏ·šî

בְּתֽוֹעֲבוֹתָם֙

bə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯām

by the abominations

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

. עָשׂ֔וּ

‘ā·śū,

they committed .

וָאֲכַ֥ל

wā·’ă·ḵal

And therefore I have consumed

אֹתָ֖ם

’ō·ṯām

. בְּאַפִּֽי׃

bə·’ap·pî.

in My anger .

עַתָּ֞ה

‘at·tāh

יְרַחֲק֧וּ

yə·ra·ḥă·qū

let them put away

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ זְנוּתָ֛ם

zə·nū·ṯām

their harlotry ､

וּפִגְרֵ֥י

ū·p̄iḡ·rê

and the carcasses

､ מַלְכֵיהֶ֖ם

mal·ḵê·hem

of their kings ､

מִמֶּ֑נִּי

mim·men·nî;

וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֥י

wə·šā·ḵan·tî

and I will dwell

בְתוֹכָ֖ם

ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵām

. לְעוֹלָֽם׃

lə·‘ō·w·lām.

of Israel ､

’eṯ-

הַבַּ֔יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ,

וְיִכָּלְמ֖וּ

wə·yik·kā·lə·mū

that they may be ashamed

– מֵעֲוֺנֽוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם

mê·‘ă·wō·nō·w·ṯê·hem;

of their iniquities –

וּמָדְד֖וּ

ū·mā·ḏə·ḏū

and let them measure

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. תָּכְנִֽית׃

tā·ḵə·nîṯ.

וְאִֽם־

wə·’im-

And if

נִכְלְמ֞וּ

niḵ·lə·mū

they are ashamed

מִכֹּ֣ל

mik·kōl

of all

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

､ עָשׂ֗וּ

‘ā·śū,

they have done ､

צוּרַ֣ת

ṣū·raṯ

､ הַבַּ֡יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

of the temple ､

וּתְכוּנָת֡וֹ

ū·ṯə·ḵū·nā·ṯōw

and its arrangement

וּמוֹצָאָ֡יו

ū·mō·w·ṣā·’āw

וּמוֹבָאָ֣יו

ū·mō·w·ḇā·’āw

and its entrances

וְֽכָל־

wə·ḵāl

צֽוּרֹתָ֡ו‪‬

ṣū·rō·ṯāw

וְאֵ֣ת

wə·’êṯ

and

כָּל־

kāl-

חֻקֹּתָיו֩

ḥuq·qō·ṯāw

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

[צורתי]

ṣū·rō·ṯāy

-

(צ֨וּרֹתָ֤יו)

ṣū·rō·ṯāw

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

[תורתו]

tō·w·rō·ṯōw

-

(תּוֹרֹתָיו֙)

tō·w·rō·ṯāw

הוֹדַ֣ע

hō·w·ḏa‘

אוֹתָ֔ם

’ō·w·ṯām,

וּכְתֹ֖ב

ū·ḵə·ṯōḇ

and Write [it] down

､ לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם

lə·‘ê·nê·hem;

in their sight ､

וְיִשְׁמְר֞וּ

wə·yiš·mə·rū

so that they may keep

צוּרָת֛וֹ

וְאֶת־

and

חֻקֹּתָ֖יו

This [is]

the law

– הַבָּ֑יִת

of the temple –

עַל־

‘al-

on

רֹ֣אשׁ

the top

הָ֠הָר

hā·hār

the mountaintop

כָּל־

kāl-

גְּבֻל֞וֹ

gə·ḇu·lōw

the area [is]

סָבִ֤יב ׀

sā·ḇîḇ

סָבִיב֙

קֹ֣דֶשׁ

. קָדָשִׁ֔ים

､ הִנֵּה־

וְאֵ֨לֶּה

And these [are]

מִדּ֤וֹת

the measurements

הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙

of the altar

– בָּֽאַמּ֔וֹת

in cubits –

אַמָּ֥ה

’am·māh

the [cubit] [is]

אַמָּ֖ה

’am·māh

– וָטֹ֑פַח

wā·ṭō·p̄aḥ;

and a handbreadth –

וְחֵ֨יק

wə·ḥêq

and the base

הָאַמָּ֜ה

hā·’am·māh

one cubit [high]

､ וְאַמָּה־

wə·’am·māh-

and one cubit ､

רֹ֗חַב

rō·ḥaḇ,

וּגְבוּלָ֨הּ

and with a rim

הָעֲזָרָ֤ה

הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה֙

hat·taḥ·tō·w·nāh

שְׁתַּ֣יִם

､ אַמּ֔וֹת

וְרֹ֖חַב

and the width of the [ledge]

– אַמָּ֣ה

the Lord

– יְהוִ֔ה

Yah·weh,

GOD –

אֵ֚לֶּה

חֻקּ֣וֹת

ḥuq·qō·wṯ

the ordinances for

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

בְּי֖וֹם

bə·yō·wm

on the day

הֵעָֽשׂוֹת֑וֹ

hê·‘ā·śō·w·ṯōw;

when it is made

לְהַעֲל֤וֹת

lə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ

for sacrificing

､ עָלָיו֙

‘ā·lāw

on it ､

עוֹלָ֔ה

‘ō·w·lāh,

burnt offerings

וְלִזְרֹ֥ק

wə·liz·rōq

and for sprinkling

עָלָ֖יו

‘ā·lāw

on it

. דָּֽם׃

dām.

וְנָתַתָּ֣ה

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

And You shall give

אֶל־

’el-

to

הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים

hak·kō·hă·nîm

הַלְוִיִּ֡ם

hal·wî·yim

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

הֵם֩

hêm

מִזֶּ֨רַע

miz·ze·ra‘

of the seed

､ צָד֜וֹק

ṣā·ḏō·wq

of Zadok ､

הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים

haq·qə·rō·ḇîm

אֵלַ֗י

’ê·lay,

Me

נְאֻ֛ם

nə·’um

אֲדֹנָ֥י

’ă·ḏō·nāy

the Lord

יְהוִ֖ה

Yah·weh

לְשָֽׁרְתֵ֑נִי

lə·šā·rə·ṯê·nî;

to minister to Me

פַּ֥ר

ben-

בָּקָ֖ר

. לְחַטָּֽאת׃

lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ.

for a sin offering .

וְלָקַחְתָּ֣

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

And You shall take

מִדָּמ֗וֹ

mid·dā·mōw,

some of its blood

וְנָ֨תַתָּ֜ה

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

and put [it]

עַל־

‘al-

on

אַרְבַּ֤ע

’ar·ba‘

קַרְנֹתָיו֙

qar·nō·ṯāw

the horns of the [altar]

וְאֶל־

wə·’el-

and on

אַרְבַּע֙

’ar·ba‘

פִּנּ֣וֹת

pin·nō·wṯ

､ הָעֲזָרָ֔ה

hā·‘ă·zā·rāh,

of the ledge ､

וְאֶֽל־

wə·’el-

and on

הַגְּב֖וּל

hag·gə·ḇūl

the rim

– סָבִ֑יב

sā·ḇîḇ;

around it –

וְחִטֵּאתָ֥

wə·ḥiṭ·ṭê·ṯā

thus you shall cleanse

אוֹת֖וֹ

’ō·w·ṯōw

it

. וְכִפַּרְתָּֽהוּ׃

wə·ḵip·par·tā·hū.

and make atonement for it .

וְלָ֣קַחְתָּ֔

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā,

And you shall take

אֵ֖ת

’êṯ

-

הַפָּ֣ר

hap·pār

the bull

､ הַֽחַטָּ֑את

ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ;

the of sin offering ､

וּשְׂרָפוֹ֙

ū·śə·rā·p̄ōw

and burn it

בְּמִפְקַ֣ד

bə·mip̄·qaḏ

in the appointed place

､ הַבַּ֔יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ,

of the temple ､

מִח֖וּץ

mi·ḥūṣ

. לַמִּקְדָּֽשׁ׃

lam·miq·dāš.

the sanctuary .

וּבַיּוֹם֙

ū·ḇay·yō·wm

And On day

הַשֵּׁנִ֔י

haš·šê·nî,

תַּקְרִ֛יב

taq·rîḇ

you shall offer

שְׂעִיר־

śə·‘îr-

עִזִּ֥ים

‘iz·zîm

of the goats

תָּמִ֖ים

tā·mîm

without blemish

– לְחַטָּ֑את

lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ;

for a sin offering –

וְחִטְּאוּ֙

wə·ḥiṭ·ṭə·’ū

and they shall cleanse

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

the altar ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

חִטְּא֖וּ

ḥiṭ·ṭə·’ū

they cleansed [it]

. בַּפָּֽר׃

bap·pār.

with the bull .

בְּכַלּוֹתְךָ֖

bə·ḵal·lō·wṯ·ḵā

When you have finished

מֵֽחַטֵּ֑א

mê·ḥaṭ·ṭê;

תַּקְרִיב֙

taq·rîḇ

you shall offer

פַּ֣ר

par

בֶּן־

ben-

בָּקָ֣ר

bā·qār

､ תָּמִ֔ים

tā·mîm,

without blemish ､

וְאַ֥יִל

wə·’a·yil

and a ram

מִן־

min-

הַצֹּ֖אן

haṣ·ṣōn

. תָּמִֽים׃

tā·mîm.

without blemish .

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֖ם

wə·hiq·raḇ·tām

And when you offer them

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

וְהִשְׁלִ֨יכוּ

wə·hiš·lî·ḵū

and shall throw

הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים

hak·kō·hă·nîm

עֲלֵיהֶם֙

‘ă·lê·hem

מֶ֔לַח

me·laḥ,

וְהֶעֱל֥וּ

wə·he·‘ĕ·lū

and they will offer up

אוֹתָ֛ם

’ō·w·ṯām

עֹלָ֖ה

‘ō·lāh

[as] a burnt offering

. לַֽיהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

יָמִ֔ים

yā·mîm,

תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

you shall prepare

שְׂעִיר־

śə·‘îr-

– חַטָּ֖את

ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ

[for] a sin offering –

לַיּ֑וֹם

､ הַצֹּ֖אן

haṣ·ṣōn

the flock ､

תְּמִימִ֥ים

tə·mî·mîm

both without blemish

. יַעֲשֽׂוּ׃

ya·‘ă·śū.

they shall prepare .

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

יָמִ֗ים

yā·mîm,

יְכַפְּרוּ֙

yə·ḵap·pə·rū

they shall make atonement

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

וְטִֽהֲר֖וּ

wə·ṭi·hă·rū

אֹת֑וֹ

’ō·ṯōw;

it

וּמִלְא֖וּ

ū·mil·’ū

so consecrate [it]

[ידו]

yā·ḏōw

-

. (יָדָֽיו׃)

yā·ḏāw.

and they shall sanctify .

､ וִֽיכַלּ֖וּ

wî·ḵal·lū

When are over ､

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַיָּמִ֑ים

hay·yā·mîm;

､ וְהָיָה֩

wə·hā·yāh

and it shall be ､

､ בַיּ֨וֹם

ḇay·yō·wm

on day ､

הַשְּׁמִינִ֜י

haš·šə·mî·nî

､ וָהָ֗לְאָה

wā·hā·lə·’āh,

and thereafter ､

יַעֲשׂ֨וּ

ya·‘ă·śū

that shall offer

הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים

hak·kō·hă·nîm

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

the altar ､

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

עוֹלֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙

‘ō·w·lō·w·ṯê·ḵem

your burnt offerings

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

– שַׁלְמֵיכֶ֔ם

šal·mê·ḵem,

your peace offerings –

וְרָצִ֣אתִי

wə·rā·ṣi·ṯî

and I will accept

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

’eṯ·ḵem,

נְאֻ֖ם

nə·’um

אֲדֹנָ֥י

’ă·ḏō·nāy

the Lord

. יְהֹוִֽה׃
