וַיָּ֣קָם
way·yā·qām
And rose up
עֶזְרָ֗א
‘ez·rā,
מִלִּפְנֵי֙
mil·lip̄·nê
בֵּ֣ית
bêṯ
the house
､ הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים
hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,
of God ､
וַיֵּ֕לֶךְ
way·yê·leḵ
and went
אֶל־
’el-
לִשְׁכַּ֖ת
liš·kaṯ
יְהוֹחָנָ֣ן
yə·hō·w·ḥā·nān
בֶּן־
ben-
. אֶלְיָשִׁ֑יב
’el·yā·šîḇ;
וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ
way·yê·leḵ
And [when] he came
､ שָׁ֗ם
šām,
there ､
､ לֶ֤חֶם
le·ḥem
bread ､
לֹֽא־
lō-
no
אָכַל֙
’ā·ḵal
he ate
､ וּמַ֣יִם
ū·ma·yim
and water ､
לֹֽא־
lō-
no
שָׁתָ֔ה
šā·ṯāh,
כִּ֥י
kî
מִתְאַבֵּ֖ל
miṯ·’ab·bêl
עַל־
‘al-
מַ֥עַל
ma·‘al
of the guilt
. הַגּוֹלָֽה׃
hag·gō·w·lāh.
