וַיִּֽקַּֽח־
way·yiq·qaḥ-
And he brought
ל֣וֹ
lōw
to Him
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
כָּל־
kāl-
､ אֵ֗לֶּה
’êl·leh,
these ､
וַיְבַתֵּ֤ר
way·ḇat·têr
and cut in two
אֹתָם֙
’ō·ṯām
､ בַּתָּ֔וֶךְ
bat·tā·weḵ,
down the middle ､
וַיִּתֵּ֥ן
way·yit·tên
and placed
אִישׁ־
’îš-
､ בִּתְר֖וֹ
biṯ·rōw
piece ､
לִקְרַ֣את
liq·raṯ
– רֵעֵ֑הוּ
rê·‘ê·hū;
the other –
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
but
הַצִפֹּ֖ר‪‬
ha·ṣip·pōr
the birds
לֹ֥א
lō
not
. בָתָֽר׃
ḇā·ṯār.
he did cut in two .
