וַיַּשְׁקֵ֗ף
way·yaš·qêp̄,
And he looked
עַל־
‘al-
פְּנֵ֤י
pə·nê
the face of
סְדֹם֙
sə·ḏōm
､ וַעֲמֹרָ֔ה
wa·‘ă·mō·rāh,
and Gomorrah ､
וְעַֽל־
wə·‘al-
and toward
כָּל־
kāl-
פְּנֵ֖י
pə·nê
-
אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
､ הַכִּכָּ֑ר
hak·kik·kār;
of the plain ､
､ וַיַּ֗רְא
way·yar,
and he saw ､
､ וְהִנֵּ֤ה
wə·hin·nêh
and behold ､
עָלָה֙
‘ā·lāh
went up
קִיטֹ֣ר
qî·ṭōr
הָאָ֔רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
כְּקִיטֹ֖ר
kə·qî·ṭōr
. הַכִּבְשָֽׁן׃
hak·kiḇ·šān.
of a furnace .
