וַתֹּ֧אמֶר
wat·tō·mer
And said
הַבְּכִירָ֛ה
hab·bə·ḵî·rāh
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ הַצְּעִירָ֖ה
haṣ·ṣə·‘î·rāh
the younger ､
אָבִ֣ינוּ
’ā·ḇî·nū
､ זָקֵ֑ן
zā·qên;
[is] old ､
וְאִ֨ישׁ
wə·’îš
and man
אֵ֤ין
’ên
[there is] no
בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙
bā·’ā·reṣ
on the earth
לָב֣וֹא
lā·ḇō·w
to come in
עָלֵ֔ינוּ
‘ā·lê·nū,
to us
כְּדֶ֖רֶךְ
kə·ḏe·reḵ
as is the custom
כָּל־
kāl-
of all
. הָאָֽרֶץ׃
hā·’ā·reṣ.
the earth .
