וַיַּצְמַ֞ח
way·yaṣ·maḥ
יְהוָ֤ה
Yah·weh
אֱלֹהִים֙
’ĕ·lō·hîm
מִן־
min-
הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה
hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,
of the ground
כָּל־
kāl-
עֵ֛ץ
‘êṣ
נֶחְמָ֥ד
neḥ·māḏ
､ לְמַרְאֶ֖ה
lə·mar·’eh
to the sight ､
וְט֣וֹב
wə·ṭō·wḇ
and good
– לְמַאֲכָ֑ל
lə·ma·’ă·ḵāl;
for food –
וְעֵ֤ץ
wə·‘êṣ
and the tree
הַֽחַיִּים֙
ha·ḥay·yîm
of life [was]
בְּת֣וֹךְ
bə·ṯō·wḵ
in the midst
､ הַגָּ֔ן
hag·gān,
of the garden ､
וְעֵ֕ץ
wə·‘êṣ
and the tree
הַדַּ֖עַת
had·da·‘aṯ
of the knowledge
ט֥וֹב
ṭō·wḇ
of good
. וָרָֽע׃
wā·rā‘.
and evil .
