the wood
、 הָעֹלָ֗ה
hā·‘ō·lāh,
of the burnt offering
וַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙
way·yā·śem
and laid [it]
עַל־
‘al-
on
יִצְחָ֣ק
yiṣ·ḥāq
– בְּנ֔וֹ
bə·nōw,
his son
וַיִּקַּ֣ח
way·yiq·qaḥ
and he took
בְּיָד֔וֹ
bə·yā·ḏōw,
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָאֵ֖שׁ
hā·’êš
the fire
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
– הַֽמַּאֲכֶ֑לֶת
ham·ma·’ă·ḵe·leṯ;
a knife
וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ
way·yê·lə·ḵū
and went
שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם
šə·nê·hem
the two of them
. יַחְדָּֽו׃
yaḥ·dāw.
