וָאֶשְׁאַ֣ל
wā·’eš·’al
And I asked
אֹתָ֗הּ
’ō·ṯāh,
､ וָאֹמַר֮
wā·’ō·mar
and said ､
בַּת־
baṯ-
מִ֣י
mî
of whom
؟ אַתְּ֒
’at
[are] you ؟
､ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר
wat·tō·mer,
and she said ､
בַּת־
baṯ-
､ בְּתוּאֵל֙
bə·ṯū·’êl
of Bethuel ､
בֶּן־
ben-
､ נָח֔וֹר
nā·ḥō·wr,
of Nahor ､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
יָֽלְדָה־
yā·lə·ḏāh-
לּ֖וֹ
lōw
to him
. מִלְכָּ֑ה
mil·kāh;
וָאָשִׂ֤ם
wā·’ā·śim
So I put
הַנֶּ֙זֶם֙
han·ne·zem
the ring
עַל־
‘al-
on
､ אַפָּ֔הּ
’ap·pāh,
her nose ､
וְהַצְּמִידִ֖ים
wə·haṣ·ṣə·mî·ḏîm
and the bracelets
עַל־
‘al-
on
. יָדֶֽיהָ׃
yā·ḏe·hā.
