שִׁלְחוּ־

šil·ḥū-

כַ֥ר

ḵar

the lamb

מֹשֵֽׁל־

mō·šêl-

to the ruler

אֶ֖רֶץ

’e·reṣ

of the land

מִסֶּ֣לַע

mis·se·la‘

､ מִדְבָּ֑רָה

miḏ·bā·rāh;

to the wilderness ､

אֶל־

’el-

to

הַ֖ר

har

בַּת־

baṯ-

of the daughter

. צִיּֽוֹן׃

ṣî·yō·wn.

of Zion .

､ וְהָיָ֥ה

wə·hā·yāh

For it shall be ､

כְעוֹף־

ḵə·‘ō·wp̄-

as a bird

נוֹדֵ֖ד

nō·w·ḏêḏ

､ קֵ֣ן

qên

the nest ､

מְשֻׁלָּ֑ח

mə·šul·lāḥ;

תִּֽהְיֶ֙ינָה֙

tih·ye·nāh

of [So] shall be

בְּנ֣וֹת

bə·nō·wṯ

מוֹאָ֔ב

mō·w·’āḇ,

מַעְבָּרֹ֖ת

ma‘·bā·rōṯ

at the fords

. לְאַרְנֽוֹן׃

lə·’ar·nō·wn.

of the Arnon .

[הביאו]

hā·ḇî·’ū

(הָבִ֤יאִי)

hā·ḇî·’î

､ עֵצָה֙

‘ê·ṣāh

עֲשׂ֣וּ

‘ă·śū

– פְלִילָ֔ה

p̄ə·lî·lāh,

שִׁ֧יתִי

šî·ṯî

כַלַּ֛יִל

ḵal·la·yil

צִלֵּ֖ךְ

ṣil·lêḵ

בְּת֣וֹךְ

bə·ṯō·wḵ

in the middle

– צָהֳרָ֑יִם

ṣā·ho·rā·yim;

of the day –

סַתְּרִי֙

sat·tə·rî

– נִדָּחִ֔ים

nid·dā·ḥîm,

the outcasts –

נֹדֵ֖ד

nō·ḏêḏ

him who escapes

אַל־

’al-

not

. תְּגַלִּֽי׃

tə·ḡal·lî.

יָג֤וּרוּ

yā·ḡū·rū

בָךְ֙

ḇāḵ

with you

נִדָּחַ֔י

nid·dā·ḥay,

– מוֹאָ֛ב

mō·w·’āḇ

Moab –

הֱוִי־

hĕ·wî-

Be

סֵ֥תֶר

sê·ṯer

לָ֖מוֹ

lā·mōw

מִפְּנֵ֣י

mip·pə·nê

. שׁוֹדֵ֑ד

šō·w·ḏêḏ;

of the spoiler .

כִּֽי־

kî-

､ אָפֵ֤ס

’ā·p̄ês

is at an end ､

הַמֵּץ֙

ham·mêṣ

the extortioner

､ כָּ֣לָה

kā·lāh

שֹׁ֔ד

šōḏ,

תַּ֥מּוּ

tam·mū

רֹמֵ֖ס

rō·mês

מִן־

min-

. הָאָֽרֶץ׃

hā·’ā·reṣ.

of the land .

– וְהוּכַ֤ן

wə·hū·ḵan

And will be established –

בַּחֶ֙סֶד֙

ba·ḥe·seḏ

כִּסֵּ֔א

kis·sê,

וְיָשַׁ֥ב

wə·yā·šaḇ

and one will sit

עָלָ֛יו

‘ā·lāw

on it

בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת

be·’ĕ·meṯ

בְּאֹ֣הֶל

bə·’ō·hel

in the tabernacle

､ דָּוִ֑ד

dā·wiḏ;

of David ､

､ שֹׁפֵ֛ט

šō·p̄êṭ

וְדֹרֵ֥שׁ

wə·ḏō·rêš

､ מִשְׁפָּ֖ט

miš·pāṭ

וּמְהִ֥ר

ū·mə·hir

. צֶֽדֶק׃

ṣe·ḏeq.

righteousness .

שָׁמַ֥עְנוּ

šā·ma‘·nū

גְאוֹן־

ḡə·’ō·wn-

of the pride

– מוֹאָ֖ב

mō·w·’āḇ

of Moab –

– גֵּ֣א

gê

[He is] proud –

מְאֹ֑ד

mə·’ōḏ;

､ גַּאֲוָת֧וֹ

ga·’ă·wā·ṯōw

of his haughtiness ､

､ וּגְאוֹנ֛וֹ

ū·ḡə·’ō·w·nōw

and his pride ､

– וְעֶבְרָת֖וֹ

wə·‘eḇ·rā·ṯōw

and his wrath –

לֹא־

lō-

[shall] not [be]

כֵ֥ן

ḵên

so

. בַּדָּֽיו׃

bad·dāw.

[But] his lies .

יְיֵלִ֥יל

yə·yê·lîl

מוֹאָ֛ב

､ לְמוֹאָ֖ב

lə·mō·w·’āḇ

כֻּלֹּ֣ה

kul·lōh

. יְיֵלִ֑יל

yə·yê·lîl;

לַאֲשִׁישֵׁ֧י

la·’ă·šî·šê

For the foundations

קִיר־

qîr-

of

חֲרֶ֛שֶׂת

ḥă·re·śeṯ

– תֶּהְגּ֖וּ

teh·gū

you shall mourn –

אַךְ־

’aḵ-

. נְכָאִֽים׃

nə·ḵā·’îm.

[they are] stricken .

כִּ֣י

kî

שַׁדְמוֹת֩

šaḏ·mō·wṯ

חֶשְׁבּ֨וֹן

ḥeš·bō·wn

､ אֻמְלָ֜ל

’um·lāl

גֶּ֣פֶן

ge·p̄en

[And] the vine

– שִׂבְמָ֗ה

śiḇ·māh,

of Sibmah –

בַּעֲלֵ֤י

ba·‘ă·lê

גוֹיִם֙

ḡō·w·yim

of the nations

הָלְמ֣וּ

hā·lə·mū

have broken down

שְׂרוּקֶּ֔יהָ

śə·rūq·qe·hā,

its choice plants

עַד־

‘aḏ-

to

､ יַעְזֵ֥ר

ya‘·zêr

נָגָ֖עוּ

nā·ḡā·‘ū

which have reached

תָּ֣עוּ

tā·‘ū

– מִדְבָּ֑ר

miḏ·bār;

through the wilderness –

שְׁלֻ֣חוֹתֶ֔יהָ

šə·lu·ḥō·w·ṯe·hā,

､ נִטְּשׁ֖וּ

niṭ·ṭə·šū

are stretched out ､

עָ֥בְרוּ

‘ā·ḇə·rū

they are gone over

. יָֽם׃

yām.

the sea .

עַל־

‘al-

כֵּ֡ן

kên

אֶבְכֶּ֞ה

’eḇ·keh

I will bewail

בִּבְכִ֤י

biḇ·ḵî

with the weeping

יַעְזֵר֙

ya‘·zêr

גֶּ֣פֶן

ge·p̄en

the vine

– שִׂבְמָ֔ה

śiḇ·māh,

of Sibmah –

אֲרַיָּ֙וֶךְ֙

’ă·ray·yā·weḵ

I will drench you

､ דִּמְעָתִ֔י

dim·‘ā·ṯî,

with my tears ､

､ חֶשְׁבּ֖וֹן

ḥeš·bō·wn

– וְאֶלְעָלֵ֑ה

wə·’el·‘ā·lêh;

and Elealeh –

כִּ֧י

kî

עַל־

‘al-

קֵיצֵ֛ךְ

qê·ṣêḵ

your summer fruits

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

קְצִירֵ֖ךְ

qə·ṣî·rêḵ

הֵידָ֥ד

hê·ḏāḏ

. נָפָֽל׃

nā·p̄āl.

､ וְנֶאֱסַ֨ף

wə·ne·’ĕ·sap̄

And is taken away ､

שִׂמְחָ֤ה

śim·ḥāh

וָגִיל֙

wā·ḡîl

and joy

מִן־

min-

– הַכַּרְמֶ֔ל

hak·kar·mel,

the plentiful field –

וּבַכְּרָמִ֥ים

ū·ḇak·kə·rā·mîm

and in the vineyards

לֹֽא־

lō-

no

､ יְרֻנָּ֖ן

yə·run·nān

there will be singing ､

לֹ֣א

lō

– יְרֹעָ֑ע

yə·rō·‘ā‘;

will there be shouting –

יַ֗יִן

ya·yin,

– בַּיְקָבִ֛ים

bay·qā·ḇîm

in presses –

לֹֽא־

lō-

יִדְרֹ֥ךְ

yiḏ·rōḵ

הַדֹּרֵ֖ךְ

had·dō·rêḵ

הֵידָ֥ד

hê·ḏāḏ

I have made their shouting

. הִשְׁבַּֽתִּי׃

hiš·bat·tî.

עַל־

‘al-

כֵּן֙

kên

מֵעַ֣י

mê·‘ay

､ לְמוֹאָ֔ב

lə·mō·w·’āḇ,

כַּכִּנּ֖וֹר

kak·kin·nō·wr

יֶֽהֱמ֑וּ

ye·hĕ·mū;

וְקִרְבִּ֖י

wə·qir·bî

and my inner being

לְקִ֥יר

lə·qîr

. חָֽרֶשׂ׃

ḥā·reś.

､ וְהָיָ֧ה

wə·hā·yāh

And it shall come to pass ､

כִֽי־

ḵî-

נִרְאָ֛ה

nir·’āh

it is seen

כִּֽי־

kî-

נִלְאָ֥ה

nil·’āh

מוֹאָ֖ב

mō·w·’āḇ

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ הַבָּמָ֑ה

hab·bā·māh;

the high place ､

וּבָ֧א

ū·ḇā

that he will come

אֶל־

’el-

to

מִקְדָּשׁ֛וֹ

miq·dā·šōw

– לְהִתְפַּלֵּ֖ל

lə·hiṯ·pal·lêl

to pray –

וְלֹ֥א

wə·lō

but not

. יוּכָֽל׃

yū·ḵāl.

he will prevail .

זֶ֣ה

zeh

This [is]

הַדָּבָ֗ר

had·dā·ḇār,

the word

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

דִּבֶּ֧ר

dib·ber

יְהוָ֛ה

Yah·weh

אֶל־

’el-

מוֹאָ֖ב

mō·w·’āḇ

. מֵאָֽז׃

mê·’āz.

וְעַתָּ֗ה

wə·‘at·tāh,

But now

､ דִּבֶּ֣ר

dib·ber

יְהוָה֮

Yah·weh

､ לֵאמֹר֒

lê·mōr

בְּשָׁלֹ֤שׁ

bə·šā·lōš

､ שָׁנִים֙

šā·nîm

כִּשְׁנֵ֣י

kiš·nê

as the years

､ שָׂכִ֔יר

śā·ḵîr,

of a hired man ､

､ וְנִקְלָה֙

wə·niq·lāh

and will be despised ､

כְּב֣וֹד

kə·ḇō·wḏ

מוֹאָ֔ב

mō·w·’āḇ,

בְּכֹ֖ל

bə·ḵōl

with all

– הֶהָמ֣וֹן

he·hā·mō·wn

that multitude –

הָרָ֑ב

hā·rāḇ;

וּשְׁאָ֥ר

ū·šə·’ār

and the remnant [will be]

מְעַ֛ט

mə·‘aṭ

מִזְעָ֖ר

miz·‘ār

ל֥וֹא

lō·w

not

. כַבִּֽיר׃

ḵab·bîr.

[and] feeble .
