וַיִּקַּ֥ח

way·yiq·qaḥ

And took

טַבָּחִ֖ים

ṭab·bā·ḥîm

of the guard

､ לְיִרְמְיָ֑הוּ

lə·yir·mə·yā·hū;

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר

way·yō·mer

and said

אֵלָ֔יו

’ê·lāw,

to him

יְהוָ֣ה

אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ

דִּבֶּר֙

הָרָעָ֣ה

הַזֹּ֔את

הַמָּק֖וֹם

. הַזֶּֽה׃

וַיָּבֵ֥א

And has brought [it]

וַיַּ֛עַשׂ

יְהוָ֖ה

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

He said .

חֲטָאתֶ֤ם

you [people] have sinned

､ לַֽיהוָה֙

against Yahweh ､

וְלֹֽא־

and not

שְׁמַעְתֶּ֣ם

､ בְּקוֹל֔וֹ

bə·qō·w·lōw,

וְהָיָ֥ה

wə·hā·yāh

therefore has come

לָכֶ֖ם

lā·ḵem

[דבר]

. הַזֶּֽה׃

､ וְעַתָּ֞ה

wə·‘at·tāh

Now ､

､ הִנֵּ֧ה

look ､

פִתַּחְתִּ֣יךָ

הַיּ֗וֹם

hay·yō·wm,

מִֽן־

min-

הָאזִקִּים֮

hā·ziq·qîm

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

עַל־

on

. יָדֶךָ֒

אִם־

If

ט֨וֹב

it [seems] good

בְּעֵינֶ֜יךָ

to you

with me

to Babylon ､

– בֹּ֚א

and I will look

the eye

עָלֶ֔יךָ

וְאִם־

but if

בְּעֵינֶ֛יךָ

לָבֽוֹא־

אִתִּ֥י

with me

to Babylon ､

the land [is]

לְפָנֶ֔יךָ

the king

and it shall be well

to us

､ וְאַתֶּ֡ם

but you ､

אִסְפוּ֩

､ וְקַ֜יִץ

and summer fruit ､

､ וְשֶׁ֗מֶן

and oil ､

and put [them]

､ בִּכְלֵיכֶ֔ם

in your vessels ､

וּשְׁב֖וּ

will know [it]

should he murder you

נֶּ֗פֶשׁ

so that would be scattered ､

כָּל־

יְהוּדָ֔ה

yə·hū·ḏāh,

the Jews

הַנִּקְבָּצִ֣ים

han·niq·bā·ṣîm

who are gathered

אֵלֶ֔יךָ

’ê·le·ḵā,

to you

؟ וְאָבְדָ֖ה

wə·’ā·ḇə·ḏāh

and perish ؟

שְׁאֵרִ֥ית

šə·’ê·rîṯ

. יְהוּדָֽה׃

in Judah .
