וַיְהִי֩

And it came to pass
בַשָּׁנָ֨ה
ḇaš·šā·nāh
in year
הַתְּשִׁעִ֜ית
hat·tə·ši·‘îṯ
the ninth
､ לְמָלְכ֗וֹ
lə·mā·lə·ḵōw,
of his reign ､
､ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ
ba·ḥō·ḏeš
in month ､
הָעֲשִׂירִי֮
hā·‘ă·śî·rî
the tenth
בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר
be·‘ā·śō·wr
on the tenth [day]
､ לַחֹדֶשׁ֒
la·ḥō·ḏeš
of the month ､
､ בָּ֠א
bā
[that] came ､
נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֨ר
nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar
מֶֽלֶךְ־
me·leḵ-
בָּבֶ֜ל
bā·ḇel
ה֤וּא
hū
he
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
､ חֵילוֹ֙
ḥê·lōw
his army ､
עַל־
‘al-
､ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם
yə·rū·šā·lim,
וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ
way·ya·ḥă·nū
עָלֶ֑יהָ
‘ā·le·hā;
וַיִּבְנ֥וּ
way·yiḇ·nū
and [they] built
עָלֶ֛יהָ
‘ā·le·hā
דָּיֵ֖ק
dā·yêq
. סָבִֽיב׃
sā·ḇîḇ.
