and [from] ore

יָצ֥וּק

[As for] the earth ､

מִמֶּ֥נָּה

וְ֝תַחְתֶּ֗יהָ

wə·ṯaḥ·te·hā,

but underneath it

נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ

neh·paḵ

is turned up

כְּמוֹ־

מְקוֹם־

､ סַפִּ֥יר

of sapphires ､

the fierce lion .

He dams up

and [What is] hidden

יֹ֣צִא

he brings forth

בְּ֝אָזְנֵ֗ינוּ

שָׁמַ֥עְנוּ

. שִׁמְעָֽהּ׃

לִקְצוֹת־

to the ends

､ הָאָ֣רֶץ

of the earth ､

יַבִּ֑יט

תַּ֖חַת

כָּל־

kāl-

– הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם

haš·šā·ma·yim

the heavens –

. יִרְאֶֽה׃

yir·’eh.

[And] sees .

לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ

– לָר֣וּחַ

lā·rū·aḥ

for the wind –

מִשְׁקָ֑ל

miš·qāl;

וּ֝מַ֗יִם

ū·ma·yim,

and the waters

תִּכֵּ֥ן

tik·kên

. בְּמִדָּֽה׃

bə·mid·dāh.

בַּעֲשֹׂת֣וֹ‪‬

ba·‘ă·ś·ṯōw

､ לַמָּטָ֣ר

lam·mā·ṭār

for the rain ､

חֹ֑ק

ḥōq;

וְ֝דֶ֗רֶךְ

wə·ḏe·reḵ,

and a path

לַחֲזִ֥יז

la·ḥă·zîz

､ קֹלֽוֹת׃

qō·lō·wṯ.

the thunderbolt ､

אָ֣ז

’āz

רָ֭אָהּ

rā·’āh

He saw [wisdom]

וַֽיְסַפְּרָ֑הּ

way·sap·pə·rāh;

and declared it

הֱ֝כִינָ֗הּ

hĕ·ḵî·nāh,

､ וְגַם־

wə·ḡam-

and indeed ､

. חֲקָרָֽהּ׃

ḥă·qā·rāh.

He searched it out .

､ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר ׀

way·yō·mer

And He said ､

לָֽאָדָ֗ם

lā·’ā·ḏām,

to man

､ הֵ֤ן

hên

יִרְאַ֣ת

yir·’aṯ

the fear

､ אֲ֭דֹנָי

’ă·ḏō·nāy

of the Lord ､

הִ֣יא

hî

that [is]

– חָכְמָ֑ה

ḥāḵ·māh

וְס֖וּר

wə·sūr

and to depart

מֵרָ֣ע

mê·rā‘

. בִּינָֽה׃

bî·nāh.

[is] understanding .
