And rose up early
יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙
yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘
､ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר
bab·bō·qer,
in the morning ､
וַיִּפְקֹ֖ד
way·yip̄·qōḏ
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הָעָ֑ם
hā·‘ām;
the people ､
､ וַיַּ֨עַל
way·ya·‘al
and went up ､
ה֜וּא
hū
he
וְזִקְנֵ֧י
wə·ziq·nê
and the elders
､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל
yiś·rā·’êl
of Israel ､
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
הָעָ֖ם
hā·‘ām
the people
. הָעָֽי׃
hā·‘āy.
