וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ
way·yê·leḵ
And went
הָאִ֔ישׁ
hā·’îš,
the man
אֶ֖רֶץ
’e·reṣ
to the land
､ הַחִתִּ֑ים
ha·ḥit·tîm;
of the Hittites ､
וַיִּ֣בֶן
way·yi·ḇen
and built
､ עִ֗יר
‘îr,
a city ､
וַיִּקְרָ֤א
way·yiq·rā
and called
שְׁמָהּ֙
šə·māh
– ל֔וּז
lūz,
Luz –
ה֣וּא
hū
that [is]
שְׁמָ֔הּ
šə·māh,
עַ֖ד
‘aḏ
to
הַיּ֥וֹם
hay·yō·wm
. הַזֶּֽה׃
haz·zeh.
