､ וְהָאֹרֵ֗ב
wə·hā·’ō·rêḇ,
And [men were] lying in wait ､
יֹשֵׁ֥ב
yō·šêḇ
לָהּ֙
lāh
with her
. בַּחֶ֔דֶר
ba·ḥe·ḏer,
in the room .
וַתֹּ֣אמֶר
wat·tō·mer
And she said
אֵלָ֔יו
’ê·lāw,
to him
פְּלִשְׁתִּ֥ים
pə·liš·tîm
עָלֶ֖יךָ
‘ā·le·ḵā
. שִׁמְשׁ֑וֹן
šim·šō·wn;
וַיְנַתֵּק֙
way·nat·têq
But he broke
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַיְתָרִ֔ים
hay·ṯā·rîm,
the bowstrings ､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר
ka·’ă·šer
as
יִנָּתֵ֤ק
yin·nā·ṯêq
פְּתִֽיל־
pə·ṯîl-
הַנְּעֹ֙רֶת֙
han·nə·‘ō·reṯ
of yarn
בַּהֲרִיח֣וֹ
ba·hă·rî·ḥōw
. אֵ֔שׁ
’êš,
וְלֹ֥א
wə·lō
So not
נוֹדַ֖ע
nō·w·ḏa‘
. כֹּחֽוֹ׃
kō·ḥōw.
