וַיֹּ֧אמֶר
way·yō·mer
And he said
אֵלֶ֛יהָ
’ê·le·hā
to her
– הַשְׁקִינִי־
haš·qî·nî-
give me to drink –
､ נָ֥א
nā
please ､
מְעַט־
mə·‘aṭ-
מַ֖יִם
ma·yim
כִּ֣י
kî
. צָמֵ֑אתִי
ṣā·mê·ṯî;
I am thirsty .
וַתִּפְתַּ֞ח
wat·tip̄·taḥ
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
נֹ֧אוד
nō·wḏ
a jug
､ הֶחָלָ֛ב
he·ḥā·lāḇ
of milk ､
､ וַתַּשְׁקֵ֖הוּ
wat·taš·qê·hū
and gave him a drink ､
. וַתְּכַסֵּֽהוּ׃
wat·tə·ḵas·sê·hū.
and covered him .
