of the sons

and I will deploy

– הֲמוֹנ֑וֹ

his multitude –

וּנְתַתִּ֖יהוּ

and I will deliver him

. בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃

into your hand .

And said

you will go

my lord ､

and when he had turned aside

אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙

､ הָאֹ֔הֱלָה

into the tent ､

וַתְּכַסֵּ֖הוּ

and she covered him

. בַּשְּׂמִיכָֽה׃

with a blanket .

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר

And he said

אֵלֶ֛יהָ

to her

– הַשְׁקִינִי־

haš·qî·nî-

give me to drink –

､ נָ֥א

מְעַט־

mə·‘aṭ-

מַ֖יִם

ma·yim

כִּ֣י

. צָמֵ֑אתִי

ṣā·mê·ṯî;

I am thirsty .

וַתִּפְתַּ֞ח

וּשְׁאֵלֵ֗ךְ

and inquires of you

､ וְאָמַ֛ר

and says ､

הֲיֵֽשׁ־

؟ פֹּ֥ה

אִ֖ישׁ

､ וְאָמַ֥רְתְּ

and you shall say ､

And took

and took

､ בְּיָדָ֗הּ

in her hand ､

וַתָּב֤וֹא

and went

אֵלָיו֙

to him

בַּלָּ֔אט

bal·lāṭ,

וַתִּתְקַ֤ע

wat·tiṯ·qa‘

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַיָּתֵד֙

hay·yā·ṯêḏ

the peg

בְּרַקָּת֔וֹ

bə·raq·qā·ṯōw,

into his temple

וַתִּצְנַ֖ח

wat·tiṣ·naḥ

and it went down

– בָּאָ֑רֶץ

bā·’ā·reṣ;

into the ground –

וְהֽוּא־

wə·hū-

for he

נִרְדָּ֥ם

nir·dām

was fast asleep

. וַיָּ֖עַף

way·yā·‘ap̄

and weary .

. וַיָּמֹֽת׃

way·yā·mōṯ.

So he died .

､ וְהִנֵּ֣ה

and I will show you
