וַתָּ֧שֶׂם

and took
אֶת־
’eṯ-

הַמַּקֶּ֣בֶת
ham·maq·qe·ḇeṯ
、 בְּיָדָ֗הּ
bə·yā·ḏāh,
in her hand
וַתָּב֤וֹא
wat·tā·ḇō·w
and went
אֵלָיו֙
’ê·lāw
to him
בַּלָּ֔אט
bal·lāṭ,
וַתִּתְקַ֤ע
wat·tiṯ·qa‘
and drove
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַיָּתֵד֙
hay·yā·ṯêḏ
the peg
בְּרַקָּת֔וֹ
bə·raq·qā·ṯōw,
וַתִּצְנַ֖ח
wat·tiṣ·naḥ
and it went down
– בָּאָ֑רֶץ
bā·’ā·reṣ;
into the ground
וְהֽוּא־
wə·hū-
for he
נִרְדָּ֥ם
nir·dām
. וַיָּ֖עַף
way·yā·‘ap̄
and weary .
. וַיָּמֹֽת׃
way·yā·mōṯ.
So he died .
