וַיִּקְח֣וּ

And took
בְנֵֽי־
ḇə·nê-
the sons
､ אַ֠הֲרֹן
’a·hă·rōn
of Aaron ､
נָדָ֨ב
nā·ḏāḇ
､ וַאֲבִיה֜וּא
wa·’ă·ḇî·hū
and Abihu ､
אִ֣ישׁ
’îš
､ מַחְתָּת֗וֹ
maḥ·tā·ṯōw,
וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ
way·yit·tə·nū
and put
בָהֵן֙
ḇā·hên
in it
､ אֵ֔שׁ
’êš,
fire ､
וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ
way·yā·śî·mū
and put
עָלֶ֖יהָ
‘ā·le·hā
on it
､ קְטֹ֑רֶת
qə·ṭō·reṯ;
וַיַּקְרִ֜בוּ
way·yaq·ri·ḇū
לִפְנֵ֤י
lip̄·nê
､ יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
אֵ֣שׁ
’êš
זָרָ֔ה
zā·rāh,
אֲשֶׁ֧ר
’ă·šer
לֹ֦א
lō
not
צִוָּ֖ה
ṣiw·wāh
. אֹתָֽם׃
’ō·ṯām.
