וְהַשָּׂעִ֗יר
wə·haś·śā·‘îr,
But the goat
אֲשֶׁר֩
’ă·šer
עָלָ֨ה
‘ā·lāh
עָלָ֤יו
‘ā·lāw
on
הַגּוֹרָל֙
hag·gō·w·rāl
the lot
､ לַעֲזָאזֵ֔ל
la·‘ă·zā·zêl,
to be the scapegoat ､
יָֽעֳמַד־
yā·‘o·maḏ-
חַ֛י
ḥay
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
､ יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
לְכַפֵּ֣ר
lə·ḵap·pêr
עָלָ֑יו
‘ā·lāw;
upon it
לְשַׁלַּ֥ח
lə·šal·laḥ
[and] to let it go
אֹת֛וֹ
’ō·ṯōw
-
לַעֲזָאזֵ֖ל
la·‘ă·zā·zêl
as the scapegoat
. הַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃
ham·miḏ·bā·rāh.
