The tunic

He shall put ､
וּמִֽכְנְסֵי־

and the trousers
בַד֮

עַל־

on
､ בְּשָׂרוֹ֒
bə·śā·rōw
his body ､
וּבְאַבְנֵ֥ט
ū·ḇə·’aḇ·nêṭ
and with a sash
בַּד֙
baḏ
יַחְגֹּ֔ר
yaḥ·gōr,
וּבְמִצְנֶ֥פֶת
ū·ḇə·miṣ·ne·p̄eṯ
and with the turban
בַּ֖ד
baḏ
– יִצְנֹ֑ף
yiṣ·nōp̄;
he shall be attired –
בִּגְדֵי־
biḡ·ḏê-
קֹ֣דֶשׁ
qō·ḏeš
. הֵ֔ם
hêm,
וְרָחַ֥ץ
wə·rā·ḥaṣ
בַּמַּ֛יִם
bam·ma·yim
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
בְּשָׂר֖וֹ
bə·śā·rōw
. וּלְבֵשָֽׁם׃
ū·lə·ḇê·šām.
and put them on .

וּמֵאֵ֗ת

And from
עֲדַת֙
‘ă·ḏaṯ
בְּנֵ֣י

of the sons
､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
of Israel ､
יִקַּ֛ח
yiq·qaḥ
שְׁנֵֽי־
šə·nê-
שְׂעִירֵ֥י
śə·‘î·rê
עִזִּ֖ים
‘iz·zîm
of the goats
､ לְחַטָּ֑את
lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ;
as a sin offering ､
וְאַ֥יִל
wə·’a·yil
and ram
אֶחָ֖ד
’e·ḥāḏ
. לְעֹלָֽה׃

אֹתָם֙

לִפְנֵ֣י

יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
פֶּ֖תַח

[at] the door
אֹ֥הֶל

of the tabernacle
. מוֹעֵֽד׃

הַגּוֹרָל֙

the lot
､ לַעֲזָאזֵ֔ל

to be the scapegoat ､
יָֽעֳמַד־

חַ֛י
ḥay
לִפְנֵ֥י

､ יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
לְכַפֵּ֣ר

עָלָ֑יו

[and] to let it go

of with his hands
קְטֹ֥רֶת

סַמִּ֖ים

some of the blood
､ הַפָּ֔ר

of the bull ､
וְהִזָּ֧ה

and sprinkle [it]
בְאֶצְבָּע֛וֹ
ḇə·’eṣ·bā·‘ōw
with his finger
עַל־
‘al-
on
פְּנֵ֥י
pə·nê
the face of
הַכַּפֹּ֖רֶת
hak·kap·pō·reṯ
– קֵ֑דְמָה
qê·ḏə·māh;
on the east [side] –
וְלִפְנֵ֣י

and before

with his finger

וְטִהֲר֣וֹ

and cleanse it
וְקִדְּשׁ֔וֹ

and consecrate it

And he shall wash

with water
בְּמָק֣וֹם

in a place
､ קָד֔וֹשׁ

holy ､
וְלָבַ֖שׁ

and put on
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ בְּגָדָ֑יו
bə·ḡā·ḏāw;
､ וְיָצָ֗א
wə·yā·ṣā,
and come out ､
וְעָשָׂ֤ה

and offer

’eṯ-

､ עֹֽלָתוֹ֙

וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
עֹלַ֣ת

､ הָעָ֔ם

as the scapegoat

､ בְּגָדָ֔יו
bə·ḡā·ḏāw,
וְרָחַ֥ץ
wə·rā·ḥaṣ
and bathe
אֶת־
’eṯ-

בְּשָׂר֖וֹ

､ בַּמָּ֑יִם
bam·mā·yim;
in water ､
וְאַחֲרֵי־
wə·’a·ḥă·rê-

mi·ḥūṣ
– לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה
lam·ma·ḥă·neh;
the camp –
וְשָׂרְפ֣וּ
wə·śā·rə·p̄ū
בָאֵ֔שׁ
ḇā·’êš,
in the fire
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ עֹרֹתָ֥ם
‘ō·rō·ṯām
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ בְּשָׂרָ֖ם
bə·śā·rām
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and

וְהַשֹּׂרֵ֣ף

And he who burns
אֹתָ֔ם
’ō·ṯām,
יְכַבֵּ֣ס
yə·ḵab·bês
､ בְּגָדָ֔יו
bə·ḡā·ḏāw,
וְרָחַ֥ץ
wə·rā·ḥaṣ
and bathe
אֶת־
’eṯ-

בְּשָׂר֖וֹ

､ בַּמָּ֑יִם
bam·mā·yim;
in water ､

on the tenth [day]
､ לַחֹ֜דֶשׁ

תְּעַנּ֣וּ

､ נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֗ם

אֶתְכֶ֑ם
’eṯ·ḵem;
מִכֹּל֙
mik·kōl
חַטֹּ֣אתֵיכֶ֔ם
ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·ḵem,
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
､ יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
. תִּטְהָֽרוּ׃
tiṭ·hā·rū.
[that] you may be clean .

[is] a sabbath

וְעִנִּיתֶ֖ם

､ נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑ם

חֻקַּ֖ת

[it is] a statute
. עוֹלָֽם׃

אֲשֶׁר־

יִמְשַׁ֣ח

and
יְמַלֵּא֙
yə·mal·lê
אֶת־
’eṯ-

יָד֔וֹ
yā·ḏōw,
לְכַהֵ֖ן

תַּ֣חַת

､ אָבִ֑יו

of his father ､
וְלָבַ֛שׁ

and put on

the garments ､

. בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה

in the year .

And he did
