For ､
､ הִנֵּ֤ה
hin·nêh
behold ､
הַיּוֹם֙
hay·yō·wm
the day
､ בָּ֔א
bā,
is coming ､
בֹּעֵ֖ר
bō·‘êr
– כַּתַּנּ֑וּר
kat·tan·nūr;
like an oven –
וְהָי֨וּ
wə·hā·yū
and
כָל־
ḵāl
､ זֵדִ֜ים
zê·ḏîm
the presumptuous ､
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and yes all
עֹשֵׂ֤ה
‘ō·śêh
who do
､ רִשְׁעָה֙
riš·‘āh
– קַ֔שׁ
qaš,
will be stubble –
וְלִהַ֨ט
wə·li·haṭ
and shall burn up
אֹתָ֜ם
’ō·ṯām
הַיּ֣וֹם
hay·yō·wm
the day
הַבָּ֗א
hab·bā,
אָמַר֙
’ā·mar
יְהוָ֣ה
Yah·weh
､ צְבָא֔וֹת
ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,
of hosts ､
אֲשֶׁ֛ר
’ă·šer
לֹא־
lō-
יַעֲזֹ֥ב
ya·‘ă·zōḇ
will leave
לָהֶ֖ם
lā·hem
שֹׁ֥רֶשׁ
šō·reš
. וְעָנָֽף׃
wə·‘ā·nāp̄.

וְזָרְחָ֨ה
wə·zā·rə·ḥāh
לָכֶ֜ם
lā·ḵem
to you
יִרְאֵ֤י
yir·’ê
שְׁמִי֙
šə·mî
My name
שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ
še·meš
the Sun
צְדָקָ֔ה
ṣə·ḏā·qāh,
וּמַרְפֵּ֖א
ū·mar·pê
and with healing
– בִּכְנָפֶ֑יהָ
biḵ·nā·p̄e·hā;
in His wings –
､ וִֽיצָאתֶ֥ם
wî·ṣā·ṯem
and you shall go out ､
וּפִשְׁתֶּ֖ם
ū·p̄iš·tem
and grow fat
כְּעֶגְלֵ֥י
kə·‘eḡ·lê
. מַרְבֵּֽק׃
mar·bêq.

וְעַסּוֹתֶ֣ם
wə·‘as·sō·w·ṯem
– רְשָׁעִ֔ים
rə·šā·‘îm,
the wicked –
כִּֽי־
kî-
יִהְי֣וּ
yih·yū
אֵ֔פֶר
’ê·p̄er,
תַּ֖חַת
ta·ḥaṯ
כַּפּ֣וֹת
kap·pō·wṯ
the soles
רַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם
raḡ·lê·ḵem;
בַּיּוֹם֙
bay·yō·wm
On the day
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer
אֲנִ֣י
’ă·nî
I
עֹשֶׂ֔ה
‘ō·śeh,
do [this]
אָמַ֖ר
’ā·mar
יְהוָ֥ה
Yah·weh
. צְבָאֽוֹת׃
ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.
of hosts .

the Law
מֹשֶׁ֣ה
mō·šeh
､ עַבְדִּ֑י
‘aḇ·dî;
My servant ､
אֲשֶׁר֩
’ă·šer
צִוִּ֨יתִי
ṣiw·wî·ṯî
אוֹת֤וֹ
’ō·w·ṯōw
בְחֹרֵב֙
ḇə·ḥō·rêḇ
עַל־
‘al-
כָּל־
kāl-
､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
Israel ､
חֻקִּ֖ים
ḥuq·qîm
[With the] statutes
. וּמִשְׁפָּטִֽים׃
ū·miš·pā·ṭîm.
and judgments .

､ הִנֵּ֤ה
hin·nêh
Behold ､
אָֽנֹכִי֙
’ā·nō·ḵî
I
שֹׁלֵ֣חַ
šō·lê·aḥ
will send
לָכֶ֔ם
lā·ḵem,
אֵ֖ת
’êṯ
-
אֵלִיָּ֣ה
’ê·lî·yāh
הַנָּבִ֑יא
han·nā·ḇî;
לִפְנֵ֗י
lip̄·nê,
בּ֚וֹא
bō·w
the coming
י֣וֹם
yō·wm
of day
יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
הַגָּד֖וֹל
hag·gā·ḏō·wl
the great
. וְהַנּוֹרָֽא׃
wə·han·nō·w·rā.
and dreadful .

וְהֵשִׁ֤יב
wə·hê·šîḇ
And he will turn
לֵב־
lêḇ-
the hearts
אָבוֹת֙
’ā·ḇō·wṯ
of the fathers
עַל־
‘al-
to
､ בָּנִ֔ים
bā·nîm,
the sons ､
וְלֵ֥ב
wə·lêḇ
and the hearts
בָּנִ֖ים
bā·nîm
of the sons
עַל־
‘al-
to
､ אֲבוֹתָ֑ם
’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām;
פֶּן־
pen-
אָב֕וֹא
’ā·ḇō·w
וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י
wə·hik·kê·ṯî
and strike
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָאָ֖רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ
the earth
. חֵֽרֶם׃
ḥê·rem.
with a curse .
